Either the peddles just came apart & fell off or slid down. It's only been just under 2 months since I put them out but, they still look good and work good. Sometimes if the sun isn't out much during the day, all you'll get is low lights and sometimes a single color but, when they've been charged well they preform well. I noticed soon after buying them that one of them leaks water into the photocell. Apparently it drains out OK so we'll see how long it lasts. The leak is the only issue and so far it's NOT an issue.Be sure and place them where they won't be bombarded by other elements besides sun and rain so they'll stay clean and bright.
