I love the sound that it makes and I find it very comforting and it’s easy to use even though my joints are very stiff and my hands and arthritic. It is a little hard to tune it and you have to use a metal Hammer to bang the pegs downward which I was not doing correctly at first however once I finally read the brochure I realized my mistake, but the app that they tell you to use in order to tune it is a tad difficult to use. I am mainly going by ear now on the and keys and if its not tinny sounding or jarring to my ear then I am leaving it the way it is. Even though I’m not playing any particular song or notes in general it just sounds incredibly soothing which I really like and enjoy. It was a spur the moment purchase and I am glad that I made it.

So at a distance it looks nice till you hold it and see a rust spot and these stains that just wipe off. I have to use a special cleanser for it. Other than that it works.

I'm impressed.For the price, I was worried. But the other 5 reviews I was reading on this Kalimba at the time convinced me that maybe, just maybe, it would be a good introduction to the instrument. I was dead set on getting one in the color black, and so I took a leap of faith and purchased this one over the many other ones I could have gotten from different sellers.I love it. It came tuned, and in excellent condition. I got it so quickly as well. I didn't even pay extra for shipping and it arrived within two days and was delivered on a Sunday! It's very easy to learn, I do have a little experience playing other instruments but I feel like even a beginner who is willing to play around with it a little bit would catch on immediately. The sound is pleasant and peaceful, just like a music box.Very happy and would buy again!

The product is not as pretty as in the photo. The Kalimba body is huge, if you have a small hands, you will have problem playing all notes. Most importantly, the tune goes out everyday. It wont stay tuned!! I tried securing all parts, no luck. Worst kalimba ive ever seen.

Love the sound, and the easiness of holding it. A challenge to get to know where the notes are after playing a piano for many years! Once you do, it is fun to play around with!

The kalimba i bought had one dead tine (the highest E) but that’s fine, i don’t think i’ll be using that note much.

Bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. I played it first, very soothing and fun to learn.

My daughter requested this, she loves the sound and the ease in which she is able to learn songs.
