Great knives

I’ve been so impressed by the quality of everything I’ve bought from this company, and will continue to purchase other things from them. The handles are perfect and comfortable to grip, and the blades are strong and SHARP!! I managed to get myself good the other day & needed SEVEN stitches in my hand 🤦🏻‍♀️ (that’s all on me for not sitting at my work table where I have better control lol whoops) So far I’ve used it on white oak and black cherry wood, and I’ve had no problems (like I have with other tools). I did end up buying another leather strop with the white sharpening compound, as the green compound this set comes with doesn’t really sharpen it but keeps it smooth. So I highly recommend purchasing that also, as I was shocked at how well and easily I was able to sharpen these knives as well as other tools I have!

I took away one star because the kit I ordered was supposed to have 3 different whittling blades in it, but it had 2 fine detail knives and no chip cutter. It didn't matter enough for me to bother with trying to return it, but it was a little disappointing. Before purchasing I had tried some whittling with an old lock blade pocket knife, and the difference these new blades make is amazing. I went from getting blisters and tired hands to actually shaping wood. They are easy to hold and cut very well. I already had some cut resistant gloves so I haven't used the protection tape included. The strop seems nice but I haven't used that yet. I would definitely recommend these as a solid but inexpensive starter set.

I bought the bird kit by beavercraft and didn't really like the knife, then off a whim I decided on these. They're really good. I got 3 car ings out today and started a bigger one. They're mostly mushrooms because I'm new to carving but off what I bought first I would highly recommend these.

These are a great set of carving knives especially for a beginner. They are very affordable “good quality” set to introduce you to the art of wood carving and whittling. I also purchased Beavercraft set of gouges equally as fine and very reasonably priced. They are very sharp right out of the box, nicely stored in a cloth case and includes a small strop and stropping compound. Everything you need to start a new and very relaxing hobby.

While I probably should write more reviews than I do. This is literally the quickest I've ever decided to leave a review. I had these Beavercraft knives arrive not 10 minutes ago. I've had a working project that I had been working on with just a pocket knife. I did realize I like the hobby enough to give it a go. These were available with a coupon which made them almost $30 cheaper than Flexcut which is the next recommended knives after these. To me, that made it well worth trying these. I opened these up to test them on my project right away. The difference is absolutely astounding! To add to a cliche saying, they cut through the basswood blocks I have like WARM butter. Are there tools better than this? I have no doubt in that. Do you need to go all in to try a new hobby? Absolutely not. I've now used these for 10 minutes and am making better work on my project than I was previously with the pocket knife. With the other reviews saying this is a great place to start, they aren't kidding. Sets cheaper than these are filled with good reviews sure, but they are also filled with reviews talking about the lack of quality, sharpness, and other things to save what is really just a few dollars from this set. If you're interested in starting some wood whittling or carving and don't want to spend a ton. Start here.

Beavercraft woodcarving kit just suited to the beginner who doesn't have to spend a load of money on tools they come sharp enough for you to use straight out of the box, I found them better when stropped, good sturdy blades and the handles are just right. The kit is priced just right for what you get if looked after they should Last a long time I'm new to wood carving and I'm very happy with the kit I would recommend this carving kit just to test the waters to see if carving is for you 😀 😉

安いので購入 多少研いでみましたが特に問題は無いようです セットの中には 皮研ぎ用の青棒や絆創膏まで含まれていて なかなか発想が面白いです 充分切れない刃物で力を入れえ過ぎると怪我をしますので 注意書きを入れるより効果があるかもしれません

Vale la pena completamente, la calidad se siente y a parte del producto, tienen un canal de YouTube donde puedes sacar 150 diseños y tutoriales. Vale mucho más la pena que las opciones más baratas. Ya incluya el cuero para afilar y a perte duran y cortan bien la madera
