Cheap, good quality, effectiveโฆ.what's not to like?
Bought this after reading through the reviews of a few puller kits, and as this one seemed to have the best ratio of positive to negative experiences, I decided to give it a go. Needed to press out a 97mm rear bearing on a Mercedes Vito van, so the kit had its work cut out for it! On first look, the quality of the pieces was surprisingly decent for the priceโฆwell finished, and nicely packaged. In use, the component pieces worked very well and were sufficiently robust to do the jobโฆcouple of turns with a long breaker bar got the bearing moving, and then wound it out the rest of the way with a long handled ratchet. Everything worked exactly as it should, with no issues apart from the washers being a little soft as others have mentionedโฆalthough despite being a bit marred from the nut, they would go again fine! As far as the main bolt thread quality is concerned, there isnโt a mark on it and all the threads are still perfect so I would be willing to bet the bad reviews of this component are down to the user ignoring the clear instructions to not use an impact gunโฆuser error basically! Using hand tools as directed, itโs more than up to the task! For a home DIY spanner monkey, Iโd happily recommend this set to anyone considering itโฆitโs a fraction of the price of a โprofessionalโ version, but performs its task very well. 5 stars

Makes the job you wanted to!
The item worked perfectly to insert the new wheel bearing into both the knuckle and the axle hub. Ensure you grease everything before using the bearing puller to make the task as smooth as possible. I did not try the set to remove the wheel bearing because the circlip was absolutely impossible to remove, so I had to buy a new wheel knuckle, but the item looks very robust and not only a single-use tool set :) Read the instructions in order to set the plates properly; otherwise you might damage the new wheel bearing.

I used this to change a ford fusion 2 rear wheel bearing
Orion Motor Tech Wheel Bearing Puller Tool Set for Front Wheel Drive Bearing Removal & Installation. I used this to fit a wheel bearing in my ford fusion 2 rear brake drum. Even though the bearing is only 53mm, and the smallest plate is about 5 mmm too big. I used the smaller plate to pull in the bearing flush, the used another bearing to press the new bearing in further allowing the circlip to be fitted. I used my dugga dugga on it and even thought the bearing was a very tight fit, no damage to the big bolt or washers. The bearing was put in the freezer the night before, and copper slip was put on the washer and bolt. The size of the smallest plate is 56 mm just measured with a Vernier gauge.

Best value for your money, works on bearings and large bushings
For the price it's a good deal, the quality of the metal isn't the same as even astro or especially the tool truck stuff (this is a bit on the softer side) but it is more than adequate. What can you really expect for the price? This is well under 100 dollars and the matco equivalent is around 800-1200 depending on the kit. I have abused this kit right off the bat using heavy duty impact guns, doing 8 Honda and toyota wheel bearings and 2 Honda trailing arm bushings all in the span of a week. It also provides enough sizes that I would say unless you're working on semi stuff and maybe some larger diesel applications you should be covered with something to fit. My only suggestions would be to get some extra washers from Ace hardware, perhaps a bit harder steel then the ones that come with it. I am using the washers the kit comes with but they're severely deformed at this point, they end up being sacrificial since this kit doesn't use any sort of bearing to apply pressure to when turning. Another important thing to remember is to keep the thread lubed. With all these things in mind this kit should serve the home diy or even mobile/ part time mechanic well.

Excellent Product
I got this as I needed to replace my wheel bearings on my ATV. After reading some of the bad reviews I was very skeptical on this product but figured I would give it a try. Boy was I glad I did. This made removing and installing the wheel bearings so easy. This worked like a charm. Now it may be the way I'm using it but the only issue I am having or had was once I started installing the bearing and making sure it was going in straight it would seem to go off angle just a bit. Enough to know that the tightening of the bolt became harder so I would stop, remove and start again. Again this was probably something I was doing wrong. Overall the whole package seems very sturdy and well constructed. I would recommend.

Good Quality
Good quality, good value compared to other stores. The only bad thing is that it chewed through the washers but it was because of my fault. Take your time and learn how to use it and donโt forget to lubricate the bolt/nut and washers and try to use a ratchet first instead of an impact gun.
