Love it and excellent aftersales service too!
Have had this for 4 years now and love it. It is so easy and convenient to use. Given it is battery powered there is totally portable and no worries about trailing wires everywhere. Single battery charge will do well over 15 tyres of topping up pressure. Excellent aftersales service too. Unfortunately the inflator gave up a month ago but a few quick emails to the manufacturer and they sent me some spare parts. 30 minutes of disassembly, a bit of soldering and hey presto back good as new. Really can’t fault them.

9/10 One of the best tyre inflators
Overall seems to be one of the better ones. Inflates tyres about 1min quicker than most other offerings. This one (RTC6000) is the one to go for if you're looking for a cordless option without faffing with the 12v lead every time. 99% of the others out there will work this way, although this 12v lead does still come with it as an option and to charge it up. It will also deflate. I've given it 8/10 for two reasons: 1. It takes EIGHT HOURS to charge the device back up again using the normal mains plug in your house. Seems a bit ridiculous by today's standards. Also the plug and the way it connects to the device seems very flimsy/cheap. (It has 3 tiny pins - I imagine could get easily bent over time). 2. So far, I haven't got a green light to show it's fully charged, despite leaving it charging for over 9 hours. My only other quibble is whether as other comments have said it's worth adding .05 to the PSI setting when inflating for when you undo the connector or not as a little bit of air comes out. From what I can see, seems unnecessary. May be worth getting a little tyre pressure gauge to go with it. Apart from that, nice big digital lcd screen with progress indicator, extremely easy to use, comes with carry case and other connectors, inflates faster than others, not too noisy, great design. Edit 29/06/22 - Finally got a green light from it, just took a little bit longer. Would rate 9/10 now.

This is just the job!
Easy to use, despite some adverse reviews, which I chose to ignore because of some very positive answers to the questions raised on Amazon. A really good feature is the long brass screw-on valve connector, which is very easy to grip even for 68 year old fingers. The mains plug connector isn’t tricky so long as you line up the plug carefully before pushing in - worked for me anyway. Charging initially takes a while, but I think one charge will last a long time, and you can always run it off the car 12volt socket. Pressure selection and adjustment is easy, and pumping seems very quick. I checked pressures on our three cars in what seemed like double-quick time. Being “cable-free” is worthwhile. This is a really good replacement for my old Michelin pump, which lasted 10 years. I was wary of the cheaper pumps, and opted for this because of the Ring brand, plus a good review in WhatCar. I think it was a good decision.

Brilliant! This has clearly been designed by a human who has actually pumped up a tyre.
Mine only arrived yesterday so I can't speak about its reliability, but it seems well made. Most importantly, it's been really well thought through. It's cordless so very very convenient. The inflator tube is actually long enough to get to a valve if it's at the top of the wheel. The tube stores away neatly. The brass screw fitting for attaching to the tyre valve seems very good quality and is very non-fiddly. It's very simple to set a target pressure. There's a foot switch to start it. It's very quick. And - brilliant thought - there's a little depression on the machine for putting the valve cap in while it's inflating - I'm forever losing the things, and that's a really nice touch. (It even comes with four spare valve caps! And a tiny cupboard that you can put them in, along with various adaptors.) The inflator/deflator for airbeds etc has a separate pump, for low pressure/high volume flow, which I haven't tried yet but will be handy in the summer. Am I being a bit over-enthusiastic? I hope not. I am chasing around now looking for tyres to pump up...

Good initially, but short lifespan.
I purchased this product in Nov 2024. Having used it about 4 times throughout last year, I thought this was a great purchase. However, when I tried to use it just after the warranty period expired, it stopped working. In essence there was no air filling at all, even though the battery was full. I tried with car tyres and bicycle tyres, knowing that pressure was very low in both sets of cases. I sent an email to Ring Tech support, who claim it's a faulty nozzle, but this is rubbish as it's only been used a handful of times. Having looked on the internet for troubleshooting, there are issues ranging from motor to diaphragm. Anyway, this is a very cheap product with a life-cycle of no more than 18months, I would say. Really disappointing.

Reliable pump
I have been using this for several months and it works well. One tyre had a slow leak and I used it every day until the tyre was properly fixed. It was extremely useful then. Sometimes the pressure you set is not right and you need to set it to a higher pressure and adjust letting a little air out with a gauge afterwards. Though I suppose it is possible my gauge is wrong.

Good in a pinch but not sure about long term battery life
Bought this to check and top up tyres on caravan where there is no power available. Perfect for that. Have used on car a few times but overall not used very much at all and recently despite charging a few days prior when I came to use it the display only showed one bar. Thought that I might have made a mistake but it has happened again. When it does work it is a really good product which is easy to use. Noise is about same as any other inflator I've had. Easy to fit to tyres and has a push button to let air out. Will definitely top up four tyres no problem and I have inflated one flat tyre with it but that's about all it will do. Good bag and must accessories fit in the device itself. Bag will take the cigarette lighter adapter and the inflator but not the plug adaptor which has led me to forget to take it when we've gone away in the caravan

Quite good - instructions hopeless!
Bought this to replace a corded tyre inflator to avoid the faff of plugging it into the car’s charging outlet and the cables getting in the way. The packaging is good and the charger appears to be of good quality. I always like to follow the instructions with new products but, as with so many these days, the print is so small you almost need an electron microscope to read them. Even then, the instructions are so vague, they’re practically useless. I assumed that it would need to be charged up first as it wouldn’t turn on at all. I plugged it in and a red light appeared on the unit, which I assume meant it was charging. Does it go green when fully charged? Who knows? The instructions made no reference to that. After 4 hours the red light was still on, which I thought was a long time to charge up something with a relatively small battery. I took the charger out and turned it on. The display lit up and showed 75% charged. I turned it off and put the charger back in and around an hour later the red light turned green and showed fully charged when turned on. With regard to using the inflator, fortunately it is quite easy to work out without the need to use the instructions. You connect the hose to the tyre valve which will give you the pressure reading and then you can set it to inflate to a higher pressure if necessary. It worked quite quickly but I was only increasing the pressures slightly. You can also use it to reduce pressure if your tyres etc., are over inflated. I then checked the pressures with a separate tyre pressure gauge and found them to be almost identical, so I think the calibration is fine. Overall, I really like the product but, especially considering the price, I would expect clearer and more comprehensive instructions.

Ring tyre inflator.
Just purchased this tyre inflator and I have to say it is a let down. Few things I dislike about it. The 12v power cord does not come built into the unit and it means it just gets tangled every time you use it. The case doesn’t have any sort of handle on it . I can’t see the 3 pin connector used to charge the pump lasting very long. Would I recommend this pump ?absolutely not.
