Excellent item!
Excellent detail and great sculpture. I bought this and the other Roman figure for display and I am very pleased with both. Well packaged and protected when shipped. The large size makes it stand out and one can appreciate all the detail in the sculpture. Highly recommended!

Plastic not Bronze
From the description, " uses actual bronze powder mixed in the cold cast resin" , much more resin ( plastic) than bronze. It is a nice work, attention to detail and scale, however this is a plastic sculpture not bronze. I would have paid more if it was made of metal.

Fantastic
Arrived quickly, packed well, and looks AMAZING. Have him guarding some of my Roman History Books, and the HBO Blu-Rays of Rome, along with his fellow soldier, who I also highly recommend.

Great detail and shading
The detail is really outstanding with just enough color to make this soldier stand out. True it isn't solid bronze but I don't think you would get this kind of detail if it was. Resin is not the same as plastic and this has bronze powder mixed in. I have the other Roman soldier with shield and spear by Wu and it has the same detail and shading as this. I also have the Roman on horseback (which I got as a gift). Same look. These statues look like the pictures of the soldiers I remember from my Latin books in high school. I would recommend all three to anyone (this one is my favorite by a slight amount of the three).
