On the day of delivery I'd wear the one the hospital provides first in case it get bloody or dirty. Because not everyone has a neat and clean labor and delivery if you know what I mean....? And when you are able to change & shower then wear your own gown. I'd do that. It's useful for breast feeding and in case you're still hooked up to tubes and all.
