Easy to install and worked great

All the parts were there.

Overall good quality but will need to see how it holds up over time. Good value. Ball float design generally have better performance because of the torque applied to the valve from the long rod/float. Issue is that the rod is too long; didn’t fit into a very standard sized tank. I made it work by Dremeling off about an inch from both threaded ends of the rod (leaving about 3/4”). Also, the hose running from the valve to the overflow drain is stiff and doesn’t bend easily without creases.

First off, the durability really stands out. After installing it, I noticed a huge improvement in how my toilet functions. Edit: Changing my review to 1 star. The fill valve continues to release water. Doesn't stop even when the water is set to stop below the fill valve dome. It has started to fill really slowly now and the wall valve is wide open. Don't buy this product unless you like wasting money. This fill valve is too short and you can't adjust it to make it longer. It does seal well to the tank however. I installed it in a few minutes. Really easy to replace, but because it is too short, the overflow hose is crinked because it has to go up then down into the overflow tube. For me, it'll work for now to fix the water hammer sound from the old fill valve. Idk if a crinked overflow hose is a problem for it or not. I did notice that if I let the water fill above the dome of the fill valve, the water will continue to fill the tank, which is why the water level is at the top of the overflow tube in the picture. I just figured that out a few mins ago because I heard water running. In other words, because it's too short, I'm not able to have the same amount of water in my tank as I had before. This could cause issues flushing everything down the drain or maybe I'll save a few gallons if water over the year. Time will tell. I may have to go pick out a taller fill valve.

I really wanted to like this kit. While it was easy to install, it’s not effective, it makes my toilet leak slightly and it’s breaking and not so sturdy. 4 out of 10, do not recommend!

The difference that makes when you use the right equipment works excellent

This repair kit was a perfect replacement for my mid 90's Universal/Rundle 6.0 lpf/1.6 gpf toilet. All necessary parts were included and it functioned well with no adjustment. I consider it an easy install and recommend. I replaced the fill valve , rod and float but not the flapper as it was the rod that rusted out.

I wanted a direct replacement for our almost 30yr old toilet. Installation was fairly simple. Making the fine adjustments took the most time. The refill valve is a couple inches shorter than the original but dont think it affects the performance. Some ppl have complained about fitting but it fit our tank perfectly. Only real issue is the flapper. Even though it does seal ok it doesnt stay afloat long enough to allow the water to drain (closes almost immediately after flushing). A float attachment wouldve helped. So now ill have to get a better flapper or cut the ring that goes around the overflow tube which may or may not fix the issue. Other than that its a decent kit to help get your toilet working properly.

To be fair, I don't know if the product was the wrong size or if my toilet is a weird size.

ballcock is smaller than regular but you can adjust. new flapper leaking thats damn bad. i wanted to return it but taking ballcock apart is pain int the neck.
