I want black because hair dye will stain all the lighter colors. Turbie Twist doesn't sell them in black. So I was thrilled to find these hair wraps in black on Amazon. The good news is that this is a well made hair turban and the microfiber material is nice -- not too thin like some of the cheap hair turbans on eBay. Unfortunately it's a little too small which I could tell as soon as I took it out of the package. So I returned it without even trying it on.It measures about 8.5 x 21 inches (unstretched; it does stretch for a few extra inches in length). The original Turbie Twist measures 9.5 x 26 inches. My head is on the larger side, and the original Turbie just fits my head.So if your head is on the smaller side, this might be a good option for you. As I said, it is very well made and I would of kept it had it been a little larger. Also, Daylee Naturals, who sells this wrap through Amazon, was easy to work with on the return.
