Learning from a Torq buffer, switching to Rupes is night and day with no sacrifice and no discrimination of skill level. I am in no means a professional detailer, but this random orbital makes every detail feel a lot smoother and more serious due to the smooth delivery of power and new (upgraded from MkII) features. The extended power cord is a huge plus that I greatly appreciate, also the cord itself doesn’t feel of cheap quality, it feels thick without being intrusive. It still feels maleable without the sacrifice of being fragile, it feels robust, but so does the machine. I also love how quiet it actually is in comparison to some other random orbitals I’ve used, but this sort of varies to the surface you’re buffing on. The progressive trigger (and the lock on full power) gives that added control, and the scroll for changing the rpm’s feels so nice and satisfying hearing the clicks when it’s in place. This buffer is also versatile because of its size and throw, it’s perfect for a good amount of situations.

Absolutely wonderful. Decided on this one over the Griots. Almost double the money but it came down to wanting to be happy over the duration of polishing. Weight, quality of build, etc were the deciding factors. This one consumes 500w to accomplish the same speed and rpms that the griots does at 1100w. They act like 1100w is robust and awesome and in reality, it’s not built as well or as efficient because it’s not more powerful, it just consumes double the energy to do the same thing. Where is that extra energy going? Probably more vibrations, less smoothness etc. Rupes won the contest and I couldn’t recommend it better. The only issue could be the cord twisting. I recommend buying a 3 year warranty to go with this machine in case the cord keeps twisting and becomes like an Apple phone charger cable

This is as good as it gets for a dual action polisher. I had some very stubborn defects that my porter cable just wouldn't phase. Just a few passes with the Rupes and they were gone like that. This tool is so awesome I've already lined my whole family up with paint corrections so I can play with this thing more.PS item shipped quickly and arrived on time. Props to the vendor.

De lo mejor de lo mejor, tenía mis dudas de que fuera original pero totalmente satisfecho, apenas estoy empezando a hacer mi set up de rupes, es importante ver videos de esta máquina porque es muy diferente a todas las roto orbitales que eh tenido.

Just do it, get one of these. After using cheaper polishers for years, I decided to step things up and get a quality machine. I'm really glad I did. This DA polisher is top notch. It has a very premium feel to it in hand, the build quality is top, it's super smooth, has no machine/hand vibration, it isn't rediculiusly loud and is just a joy to use. Basically, what you pay is what you get.

This item arrived with a US plug and runs on 120V. Totally unsuitable for Australia. These features should be pointed out up front. Unrealistic to expect buyers to buy a transformer to convert voltage.
