Skin Food Light

​I am a long-time user of the original heavy Weleda Skin Food, but sometimes it's just too rich for daytime use or warmer weather. When the "Light" version came out, I was skeptical—could it possibly deliver the same level of intense hydration without the thick, dense feeling? The answer is a resounding yes!​Texture & Feel: This cream is a dream. It has a beautiful, whipped texture that is noticeably lighter than the original. It absorbs quickly, leaving absolutely no greasy residue, which makes it perfect for use under makeup. It provides immediate relief to dry patches without making my skin feel suffocated.​Hydration & Results: It contains the same beloved blend of natural ingredients (including sunflower oil, lanolin, and extracts of pansy, rosemary, and calendula), and my skin looks and feels deeply nourished after applying it. It combats dryness, reduces flaky patches, and leaves a healthy, radiant glow. It’s light enough for morning use but powerful enough to heal my skin overnight.​Recommendation: If you love the intense results of the classic Skin Food but need something that sinks in faster, works well in humid climates, or serves as a lighter, daily facial moisturizer, the Skin Food Light is the perfect substitute. It’s an essential staple in my routine now!

Skin feel soft and smooth and dry patches are feeling much better.Originally wanted it for a light day cream, but I find its too rich and sits on the skin and feels a bit sticky and tacky.So I use it at night . By morning its fine.Overall seems a good cream and smells nice.

This stuff is great - smells magical (I love the smell of natural essential oils) and it is relaxing to put on in the evening. It is quite greasy but I like this for night time use - I wake up feeling moisturised and my skin is soft.

Huge fan of this product. I first came across it while being made up for a photo shoot, feeling deeply uncomfortable under the amount of makeup needed to stop me looking like a ghost in the photos. Despite that, I’ve used it ever since.It works beautifully whether I’m wearing makeup or going completely bare‑faced. I normally use the light version, but the darker green tube is just as good – I just use a little less. It keeps my skin soft and moisturised throughout the day.One small tip: if I’m wearing any eye makeup (liner or mascara), a touch of loose powder under the eyes is essential to stop it smudging on the moisturiser.With daily use, one tube lasts me around ten weeks, so I now have it on subscription.A reliable, gentle staple that’s earned its place in my routine.

Había usado Weleda Skin Food Original. Aunque me gustaba mucho, la encontraba demasiado “untosa”. Buscaba algo parecido, “igual”, pero más ligero. Es perfecta. La uso desde hace tiempo prácticamente a diario por la mañana y por la noche, sobre todo, en la cara, durante todo el año. Viene muy bien cuando hace frío, pero también es muy útil para usarla después de tomar el sol. El olor es muy agradable, suave y no cansa.Los aspectos que me gustan son:• Textura y absorción: Muy buena textura, es ligera y se absorbe rápido. Suave al tacto. Deja la cara muy suave y sin brillos. No deja sensación grasa.• Hidratación: Tengo la piel sensible y bastante seca, me resulta muy hidratante y nutritiva. Proporciona alivio y bienestar casi instantáneo a la piel seca. Noto que mi cara se ilumina después de usarla.• Envase: Suelo comprar el formato de 75 ml, porque me dura, no tengo que estar comprando crema constantemente y me cabe en el bolso. Perfecta tanto para bolso como para mesilla de noche. Buena calidad / precio. No se derrama, el tubo es muy práctico. Además, me encanta el color del tubo.Cosas a mejorar: Sinceramente, no se me ocurre ninguno. Igual no la recomendaría para tratamientos más específicos, pero como hidratante es perfecta.Conclusión:Es un producto muy recomendable.
