It is made of wood and is sturdy which should last many years. I just wish that it would bend at the legs so you could sit the memebers into a chair but then that would be extra parts which could break apart. It comes really nicely packaged also. The parents thought this was extremely thoughtful and practical and very unusual to the plastic stuff that is on the market now that will only be played with for a short time but this will last years. Very good quality.

**Q: Our baby was misplaced. Can we get another baby?**
A: I'm not aware of being able to get single dolls.  I do love these - they are a perfect size for my dollhouse - and have about 2.5 sets at this point.  I save some out for use later when some get worn out - legs become detached etc.

**Q: Are these dolls too small for the kidkraft majestic mansion?**
A: I think the dolls are just the right size for the majestic mansion doll house.  They fit nicely at the dining room table, the toilet, the tub, the piano, and the beds.  The baby fits nicely in the high chair and in the crib.  On the stools at the kitchen table, the table comes up to the dolls mouth.  When sitting at the vanity, the stool is too low.  The dolls seem short on the long twin bed, but I think the bed is out of proportion from the other furniture.  I do not think one could find a set of dolls that fits every piece of furniture.  If I had to purchase dolls again I would again buy the same dolls.  I also like that there are seven dolls.  There are so many ways to use them and they seem very durable.

**Q: Can these dolls sit**
A: These dolls bend at the hip so they can sit but not at the knees.

**Q: Are these dolls too big for the kid kraft pacific bungalow dollhouse?**
A: Hi, they are like a 15 or 18 cms tall.

Super cute posable doll family. Bought our granddaughter a doll house, and this was the perfect family to live in that house. The dolls have wooden heads and bendable legs so they can stand or sit. Cute yarn hair reminds me of old fashioned dolls made with great quality. Fantastic dolls could be played with even without a doll house. Sometimes they are packed up and brought along when we travel. High quality construction, that will outlast my kids playing with them. I imagine these dolls will be played with for years and years!

At first when they came, I didn't like them much because I couldn't figure out how to make them sit, I thought that the legs were wood also and that they could only stand. I looked at other reviews and saw that they could, and realized that the legs were, like, stiff rope things which bend and hold their shape. I actually like that better, too, because when they sit, you can bend them at the waist and the knees so that they can sit better. I like them a lot! They are so cute, and I love that they have the grandparents too. I haven't had them long so I don't know if they are durable, but I like that the legs are not wooden, because they will not snap, which I was worried about. I am worried about their hair long term, and one thing that is weird is that the mom and the son have the same hairstyle but, hey, why not? Great family!
