So far it is working and he uses the chalkboard! As a cat lover and owner, I was immediately drawn to the kitten perched in the corner and it makes me smile whenever I look at it. It is quite small, but as long as you don’t have dozens of appointments to note it is adequate for our purposes.

**Q: Is the cat removable? Thanks!**
A: No the cat is not removable. It it part of the chalk board.

**Q: Does it have a shine to the blackboard? Ive just bought one and can't write on it with normal chalk as its too shiny.**
A: Mine is like a semi matte, it's a little bit shiny. However, chalk writes on it just fine. I use Crayola anti dust chalk. Hope that helps!
