Amazing story
If you were ever curious about the suppression of natural cures and just how far Pharma will go to destroy a man's live, read this account by Dr. Beljanski's daughter. This is a well written, fascinating read that also provides a lot of information regarding the Beljanski formulas and the logic behind them.

New Hope for Cancer Patients
This book is based on the lifetime work of the author's father, Mirko Beljanski. He dedicated the latter part of his career on antiviral and anticancer remedies, and discovered two plants that seem to work against cancer and chronic diseased. Unfortunately, Mirko Beljanski's lifetime work was destroyed and he was brutally silenced. The author, Sylvie Beljanski, built the Beljanski Foundation to continue her father's work. This book is a beautiful tribute to her father, but it is also a story of determination and overcoming obstacles. Furthermore, it offers scientifically proved facts about Beljanski's remedies, and thus, brings new hope to cancer patients and their close ones. If you are interested in integrative medicine, want to know more about cancer, or know someone who has cancer, do read this amazing book!

Beljanski's father was murdered because his plant extracts can cure cancer.
I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars because we are losing our freedom of choice concerning our own health. Natural alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs are being blocked. Drug companies suppress information about natural medicines, and they are keeping them off the store shelves and out of our hands.Beljanski’s cancer story is backed by science. She states that cancer is driven by cancer stem cells. If the stem cells are not killed, the tumor will grow back. Her Beljanski Foundation research program has shown that plant extracts can completely eradicate cancer stem cells within hours, and it is non-toxic.Beljanski’s life-saving extracts have come under attack by the medical industry. They raged an open war against it. “It was a clash between the established medical system with its patented, synthetic drugs, and a more natural approach. Anything natural that works better than synthetic drugs is perceived as a frontal attack on the entire economy of pharmaceutical companies.”Beljanski’s father developed the cancer killing, plant extracts in his independent research laboratory in France. One day, the French S.W.A.T. Team showed up at his lab with machine guns, dogs and a helicopter. Her father was handcuffed, his products, analysis samples, lab notes, and research papers were seized. His computers, equipment, raw materials and botanical extracts were all confiscated. It was the military who came for Beljanski’s father, not the police. They arrested his employees as they showed up for work. Her father, 73-years-old, was interrogated right there, in his research lab, without a lawyer. A S.W.A.T team came in, covered from head to toe in white garments, and began spraying the laboratory. Her father was forced to spend the night in his lab, exposed to the chemicals they had just sprayed.Beljanski’s father was put under house arrest and forbidden to conduct any kind of scientific research. Shortly after his arrest, he became extremely ill. He was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a disease that takes decades to form. He had been a strong, healthy man before his arrest. His daughter believes the chemicals his lab was sprayed with gave him his illness.Beljanski’s father was dying, and his plant extracts that could save his life were not available to him. Beljanski tried to obtain them and was blocked. She began to research her father’s work. He had discovered the two strands of DNA were vulnerable to destabilization. They are designed to open and close, so the genetic information can be read by cells, and copies can be made. This opening and closing process of the DNA is tightly regulated in the cell.Beljanski discovered certain chemicals can destabilize DNA by separating the two strands of the double helix. If this happens, the cell loses its control of DNA structure. Beljanski believed cancer cells continuously divide because they destabilize the DNA. Environmental toxins were causing our DNA to become destabilized, dramatically increasing the risk of getting cancer. Beljanski developed a test (Oncotest) that can detect whether industries had a carcinogenic compound in their products. Then he went on to develop his plant extracts that block the duplication of cancer DNA.Beljanski promised her father three things on his death bed: to take his case to the European Court of Human Rights; to make sure the products would continue to be available, and to continue to do research with those extracts. When Beljanski was able to access her father’s legal file, she read: Recommendation of the destruction of all evidence and testimonials” Beljanski knew her father’s case was not about justice; it was about destroying something that could help heal humanity.

Informative and thought-provoking
An informative book regarding natural cancer treatments that can be used alongside other treatments such as chemotherapy. Beljanski tells her own story alongside that of her father's and his research. The book is interesting, easy to follow along, but at times feels a little like a sales pitch. Even so, the research presented is compelling enough that if I am in need of cancer treatments in the future, I'll be doing more research and considering taking the supplements discussed in this book.

A really good resource!
“Winning the War on Cancer: The Epic Journey Towards a Natural Cure” by wonderful author Sylvie Beljanski, is truly a must-read for anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer. Family members will also benefit from investing in this riveting account of Ms. Beljanski’s father, biochemist Miko Beljanski. The book tells of the fate of little-known natural treatments for many forms of cancer, and of Mr. Beljanski’s struggles (with government and others,) and successes in developing new, alternative treatments. One thought that permeates the book is that cells are often mutated by environmental and even emotional toxins. Ms. Beljanski explains these things in a manner that the layman can easily understand, and in a very inspiring way.Her explanations of her father’s journey in the search for treatments for cancer are amazing. Her writing is superb, and extremely well-researched.The book, and the cancer research of Ms. Beljanski’s father were over fifty years in the making. This wonderful retelling of her father’s story and of his successes are well worth the read. This very informative book is right-on and quite enlightening. I would, of course, recommend it to anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer, as one of many great information sources in their own private search for treatments. It is alternative medicine and must be accepted as such. I was happy with my purchase and would definitely buy the book again.

Fascinating book on herbal cancer treatments
Winning the War on Cancer is a fascinating and eye-opening book for anyone who has been touched by cancer. The author, Sylvie Beljanski, tells the story of how the French government covered up and suppressed her father's research into alternative treatments for cancer. As a cancer patient myself, I have read quite a bit into the alternative world of cancer treatment. So, I was surprised to find a book with information about herbal remedies that I was unfamiliar with. Beljanski presents thorough research backing these remedies and explains it in non-medical language that anyone can understand. It is a captivating story from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in alternative cancer treatments.
