It will be filled with plants which will grow over the top and obscure the tub itself. It seems robust and I expect it to last for several years. The dimensions given in the sales blurb are not entirely accurate. The article is listed as 80 x 35 x 30 cm. It is actually 77 x 35 x 30 cm. Only a small difference in size and probably not significant enough to complain about. I haven't yet drilled the drainage holes in the bottom of the trough and am hoping that it doesn't split when I do that. Otherwise, I like it well enough and it is what I expected to receive. I am thinking about ordering another although will wait until I have drilled the holes in the first, to see whether it is as robust as it seems. My only other observation is that it came with a lot of packaging: A box about twice the size of the product, a very large plastic sack which was secured with a plastic cable tie, plus lots of brown paper. I think this is worth mentioning and hope that the supplier will consider trying to reduce the amount of packaging used for future orders. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, strong, stable, very large trough planter. *by B***J on 5 August 2020* I needed a large trough like planter, but something larger and more sturdy than the normal 'window box' type sold in garden centres to replant on a large ornamental grass. This planter is ideal, it is very large and deep with no warping movements, even when not filled with soil. It is extremely sturdy and the colour enhances the plants put into it. I am using it for a large ornamental grass to make into a natural garden divider on a patio. Now fully planted up the planter is very stable on my patio with no movement or tipping even in very windy weather which happens with the more shallow type of planters. The quality of the plastic used feels very thick and sturdy, similiar to a planter I saw at a local garden centre for over twice the price, it also looks more expensive than it actually is. It sits on 4 slightly raised legs which allows for good drainage and can be used for all types of plants expecially those who prefer a deeper pot and I have found that my grasses have flourished in this planter.
