Just ordered this. Does it rust over time.?

I bought this over a year ago from Amazon and use it every morning to boil water for tea, oatmeal, and drinking water. I love it because it holds enough water for my needs. To answer your question, this pot has never rusted at all since I've had it. I never let water sit in it all day. Empty it as soon as water has cooled down to the point you can handle to pour into containers.

What is the difference between this ecpurchase kettle and another one on amazon that costs $4 more? They look identical. I can't figure it out.

There were no markers inside the kettle, but the top opening is big enough to see easily how full the kettle is, so overfilling is not likely.
