FANTASTIC BEACH FUN
This was everything we imagined it would be for play on the beach. We had people watching us. I felt like we invented a new game nobody saw because it was not something you see (we never saw it before Amazon) and something that is very fun to play running on sand or just staying in position. The balls can go into the water (they float) and they will move just a bit in wind, but you learn to account for it before you "sling" it off of the holder (part of the skill growth in the game). Kids (16 and 12) played it for hours in Aruba all week. They kept asking where I found this...a great fresh game. Love it. (Well built too...you can buy extra balls, since they have elastic rings attached to fire them off of sling, in case the rings break. I bought a pack, and we only used the single ball they are built so well).

Fun for dad & son + one tip.
Played this game lots of times. Balls can launch very high very accurately. For best accuracy, draw pointing downward as if shooting a long bow and then aim up with the ball resting against your inner elbow/bicep. The rubber bands on the balls do break, and be warned that they come in 3 sizes and the only good size is the large (which is the 4-pack). The medium (5-pack) is simply unusable and for some reason the physics just donโt work. Balls last a few hours of play each, or maybe a dozen hours if the user canโt put much strain on the band. The 4-pack of balls is what you want for replacements and the slingshot balls that come with the toy are the size large, so you wonโt necessarily need replacements right away, but when you do get replacements make sure you get the size large. A 5-pack of balls or a six pack are the wrong ball size.

Fun once you get the hang of it
Once you get your technique down launching the balls consistently, this is a really fun game for the park, beach or pool. Knocking a star off because the rubber loops on the balls don't last very long. Packs of new Djubi balls are available for around $13.

Great beach and pool toy
Took this on vacation with my grandkids to Mexico. They used it in the pool and on the beach. The kids using it were ten and up. Ten out of ten.

Favorite Outdoor Toy
Finally a positive review - After writing about some toys that were either junk or just boring it is nice to share a great product with other parents. My boys are now 10, 8 and 4 and all 3 love this game. it is a combination slingshot and catch. You hook the blue rubber-band that is attached to an orange ball to a small hook on the catching handle. You then slingshot the orange ball to the other person who catches it in their net. My kids are hooked. For a few weeks now they come to me and ask if I will play it with them in the yard. It is not a good individual game. You really do need 2 people to have more fun. They shoot it as high as they can to me and are always impressed if I can actually catch it...Oddly it has become a time to talk with each of them about their days at school. I am ordering another set so that 3 or 4 of us can play at the same time. We have lost a few in the trees so definitely order extra replacement sets. Now my 4 year old can do this but most of his friends cannot - he is more coordinated than an average 4 year old. I don't think my older boys could have pulled back the band to the ball while keeping it still hooked on the handle (picture if your child could use a slingshot). I think it would frustrate many 4 year olds. The djubi junior though I do not own looks like it is just smaller - I can't see wanting a smaller net to catch the ball in, nor do I think it would make pulling the slingshot any easier for a younger kid. It takes a few throws to get the hang of it but you will love it. It sits by our door and gets used weekly which as you know is rare for toys these days!!

Fun but cheaply made
First off out of the package, one of the nets had a large hole where the seam had never been sewn. I thought it was part of the design, because it was so obvious, but it was only on one, so it was a problem with quality control. It took a few minutes to hand sew it closed, and then off to try it out. My son and I found it enjoyable, and fairly easy to use. The plastic frame seems like it will be easy to break and I will be surprised if I come home from work tomorrow and find both 'catch nets' still in one piece. We'll see...

Exactly what I hoped for - fun and easy
The reviews sold me on this, so I will chime in - Djubi is exactly what I hoped for. I wanted a low-key, easy and entertaining beach toy to give my husband and I and our college-age sons something to do together on the beach. We have varying athletic ability (I'm at the low end), and this was perfect. It was easy to "shoot" a good distance and surprisingly easy to catch, once you get the hang of it. The wind factor introduces an entertaining challenge but still very do-able with a sea breeze. The ball is light and floats, so there's no panic about getting hit by the ball or if it falls in the water. The raquet/nets seem durable enough, although we've only used it for one vacation. I would think younger children would enjoy it too, as it sparked some interest from kids nearby and they wanted to "shoot" it. I am very happy with the launching aspect, because I just don't throw, hit or pitch well. This toy was a good choice.
