This is the best book shelf for kids books. The price compared to something labeled ‘kids bookshelf’ is outstanding. The quality is great. Height is perfect for littles. The pockets are deeper so you do have to either put tall books in or add something that smaller books can sit on top of but to me that was a super easy fix as i just shoved some moving paper in and it was perfect. These racks are amazing great looking and they fit a lot of books I use them for my comic book collection and it’s an absolute joy to see them in this rack the craftsmanship and style is simple and simple is good it’s well organized it can be a little tricky putting it together but once you start lining up it scan flow pretty easy but it was the start that’s the battle to putting it together but an must have

I wanted to hate this so bad. It took forever to arrive and finally showed up in a completely destroyed box. It came in a thousand flimsy pieces that were pretty much all chipped and it took forever to assemble. I would not let my husband have the satisfaction of helping me put it together- I did every single piece on my own, cursing every giant screw and chipped board. But then I finished and put some books on it, and it’s so cute. So I begrudgingly give it 4 stars for a much more expensive-looking shelf at a good price. Just know that baby books are too short to display (as others have mentioned) but I used the destroyed box to “lift” the shelves higher, and now the jankiness is complete. Perfect nursery bookshelf.

After endless searching for a durable and affordable book display I found this. It was out of stock when I placed the order but I purchased it anyway since it wasn't an urgent necessity. It took about a month or so before I finally got it. It was easy to assemble. It took me about 20 minutes. It is very sturdy.The downside which I did not take any stars away for since I knew before purchasing from the reviews and its advertisement, is that is a magazine rack. So, it is deep and hides the small books from being displayed.I added padding to boost the height as I read others had done. I was also a bit disappointed that it didn't fit as many books as I thought it would but we have a lot of books so I just fit what I could and decided I would rotate them out.Overall I think this was great for the price and worth the wait.

This is a great bookcase for the kids. When I initially looked for "kids bookshelf" on Amazon, this product did not even show up in the search. I was about to buy some other kids' bookshelf that was made out of nylon which would have cost as much. I did a google search for one last time and that was when I found this bookshelf instead. I am very glad that I did. The pockets of shelves are fairly deep, so it works the best for medium/large picture books. Figures since this is called a magazine rack. In one of the rows, I put some bubble wraps on the bottom to raise the height. That row is being used for smaller books like the board books. It works out perfectly! It is not made out of real wood, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it looks. The bookshelf is sturdy and heavy. I plan to put it against the wall in the corner of the room, not moving it around.

Storage capacity:Very easy to assemble and was able to fit such a good amount of books! I love it! It’s not too big and fits well in the kids rooms so they can chose their own book for bed time

This is a great alternative to an expensive solid wood book shelf. There is some slight peeling on the edges of the bookcase, but that was to be expected with particle board and considering the price. Nothing that was very noticeable or bothered us too much. Very sturdy & weighs about 15-20lbs. Our daughter reads mostly board books right now, so we had to roll some cupboard liner and insert it into the slots to boost them up high enough to see, but regular size books or magazines would be just fine! All in all, a great purchase for the price.

This is a nice display bookshelf that can be used in either the classroom or home. It is made of composite wood comes in a natural light wood color.The shelf came unassembled in a box with instructions and all the accompanying screws. The product did not include a small compatible screwdriver to facilitate assembly. You must have your own tool kit handy in order to properly assemble this.The instructions were cumbersome and the assembly process did not flow as easily as one would hope for such a small furniture piece. I was able to follow the instructions and complete assembly because I have built many things previously. I do NOT think that a novice furniture assembler would affectively follow the instructions available to them and might grow frustrated with the process due to the poor instruction design.The shelf is sturdy, stable and has the capacity to hold up to 20 books depending on their size and weight. I wish that the design was different to allow for more exposure of the front book covers of the books on display.This bookshelf allows me display theme related books in my classroom exposing my students to new books and content. The bookshelf is a focal point of the class, the students know to gently grab a book and sit at a table to view the book. My students are not allowed to move the shelf in anyway so it is hard to speak to the long term stability and durability of this shelf.

The bookshelf is very easy to assemble and feels solid and well-made.However, the book slots are a bit too deep for smaller children’s books, which makes them hard to see and reach.I added a small improvised spacer at the back, and now it works fine.It would be perfect if the design included adjustable slots or multiple levels for the bottom board to accommodate different book sizes.

The first one I ordered came in a damaged box and the product was also damaged. Amazon quickly sent me a replacement and the return process was simple.It’s a great little bookcase for small spaces. Ideal for a playroom, bedroom etc.it holds quite a few books, both paperback and board books for my preschoolers.Perfect height for them to access and I like how they can see the books face on rather than lined up sideways on a typical bookshelf.It was fairly simple to put together and took me about 30 minutes topsz
