RYOBI P118B 18V Battery Charger

I had the original charger that came with my Ryobi battery-powered trimmer, and it lasted as expected. However, this replacement charger has exceeded my expectations in terms of durability. It's been a valuable addition to my gardening toolkit, and I've used it frequently for yard work. Knowing that chargers and batteries have a limited lifespan, I'd say this one has performed well so far. It's been reliable and efficient, making it a worthwhile purchase.

Works very good but my hands are small and I have a hard time getting it apart

Perfect fit and function. I later ordered a new battery also to renew my leaf blower to NEW.

It will show as solud green sometimes when I put a battery in to charge. The battery has to be taken out and reinstalled tight then it will blink green that it is charging. The charger does charge well once it is blinking.

P118B charger works flawlessly with multiple different non-brand replacement (knock-off) Ryobi lithium batteries. Tested on 5Ah Novcor, 6Ah Vanon and 4Ah Homedas types. Compared to Imax B6 charger (by SkyRC is a well known refence quality charger) the P118B charges up the battery to the same peak capacity that can be achieved with a certain battery using the B6. Notes: The problem -if any- is with the battery packs that their capacity is overstated, except the Homedas 4Ah one that charges up to 4115mAh - surpassing its claimed rating. This charger is not super fast but if you are not impatient this is actually a GOOD feature because it is gentle on the battery increases its life expectancy and also helps to get closer to reach peak charge capacity - meaning achieve maximum use/run time. It is not charging the old 15cell NiCad packs - as correctly claimed in its specification.

I needed another charger for my string trimmer and now have two extras of these. So nice to have two batteries charging while using the third one. I have quite a lot of trim work around the property so now I never have to wait to have a fully charged battery to continue on. They are very quick to charge. No problems at all. Highly recommend.
