Great Product
No issues. Came new unused with no prior partitions on device. Currently using it for fat ps3. Great upgrade for storage. Had no issue installing. The 80 gb that came out of my ps3 was also Toshiba brand so almost identical aside from storage capacity. Will purchase again.

Good HDD
Works on the PS3 perfectly. Just as fast and works just as well as the standard drive it comes with. Not any noisier and has a much larger capacity. Decent price for 1tb.

Works for PS3 fat
My PS3 fat stopped working. I bought this hard drive and swapped it in. Formatted it and did an update via USB drive. Everything works again.

Fixed HD failure on Lorex Security system
I have a Lorex 6 camera wire free security system (2021). This is the same HD they have in their recorder. Works well and the install is a piece of cake to accomplish, and at literally a fraction of the price Lorex would charge to do the replacement. I do have an issue with the system writing over the old data when the HD gets full. This is resolved by doing a format, which I couldn't resolve with the old failed HD. I believe the issue is with the Lorex design and not the HD as I have had a number of issues with the system.

Like Gambling to get a functional drive.
To anyone buying for a ps3 spend the extra $ and buy a (Crucial mx500). I first purchased an evo 870 and it was a failure, got my refund. Then ordered this Toshiba Every hard drive has Lasted no more than 2 weeks then corrupted, tried formatting multiple times to no resolve. No interested in trying and returning the item for the second time bc I thew away return label and box.. took the L on this one. Ordered a crucial mx500 plugged in, installed ps3 system software and it’s been 2 months of fast load times, fast downloads and reliability all around.. again let save you from the week and weeks of headaches and missing data… BUY A CRUCIAL MX500!

Dans l'ensemble le disque était bien. Seulement ouvert 3 fois au démarrage, c'est donc un disque NEUF. Pas de soucis pour le configurer; je recommande donc, ce matériel.
