I bought this drone for my 14 yo son who has never had a drone before. I was looking for a good quality drone with all the advanced features, but at a price that wouldn't kill me if he broke it or lost it as he was learning. I wanted something with a lot of range on it too because we have a large property to fly it on. This drone seemed to fit the bill, so I ordered it. It seems sturdy and well built, and the case is a really nice touch. The beginner mode has been great because my son was able to learn to fly without worrying about losing it. We just recently took it off beginner mode to see what it can do, and it really gets out there! The camera is pretty decent (pretty much what we expected for the 1080p version) and takes good pictures as long as it's not being blown around by the wind (don't expect a 3 axis gimbal for this price - but that's not needed for our use). We've had it out in roughly 10 - 15 mph wind with no issues at all holding its position. Return to home feature brings it right back in front of you by a few meters, and the land feature consistently lands it within about 1 meter of the take off location. We are new to drones, and this one was an easy learner, and it has the features to take us well into the intermediate stage too. Very happy with this purchase!

All around this is a wonderful drone, especially for the price.some observations.- Fun and easy- Good video- Great distance for small drone- Simple to fly- overall wonderful drone I am very happy.Few picky things.- The camera is not on a gyro so it does not self stabilize, action shots with a lot of movement and turns usually come out shaky. This is also an issue when there is wind, the wind rocks the drone slightly and all movement is noticeable on the video.- I have also had difficulty with the follow features, the speed doesn't keep up with say a car even at 25 mph, idk if its because the drone was trying to fly sideways. Not sure if I'm not using the feature correctly so ill try a few more times. It seems for what ever reason the drone follows but the camera doesn't stay focused on the subject the drone is following.

My wife and I originally picked the Contixo F24 RC Quadcopter as a gift for our grandsons. Their previous drones did not have all the great features that this unit has.I need to point out that RC flying and in particular Quadcopter Drone Flying has been the inspiration for our grandsons to get into aviation. Now at ages 14 and 15 years old they are Active Members of the CAP (Civil Air Patrol) and learning to fly real planes. When they are not flying the CAP Cessna 182 they love to spend time flying drones with their me their grandfather and our Contixo F24 Drone.We just Love the Contixo F24! Both for its ease of use and also for its features.Contixo advertises this the best drone for Beginners and we agree 100%We found out with previous drone purchases about the difference between some drone motors and Contixo’s Nice Quiet Brushless Motors. This helps keep peace with the neighbors. 8-)Being foldable it is easy to transport and the Selfie, Gesture, features along with their 1080P WiFi Camera which IS Gimballed are must-have and important features TO HAVE in our humble opinion.I particularly love the GPS, Auto Hover, Follow Me, and Waypoint Features!We’ve spent a lot of time comparing drone products and with this unit you basically have the features of a $1200.00 Drone here… (You Know Who I mean) without the high cost.Truly a Bargain that may, in fact, be the catalyst to inspire someone in your family to enter into a serious aviation career making this particular drone the Gift of a Lifetime!I would like to also add that we did have a minor issue with our previous unit and the folks at Contixo couldn’t have been nicer and more gracious and understanding. They immediately replaced our first unit without a question. They are a US company and we were able to contact their support department without any trouble at all. I started out with toy grade drones found in major retailers and was not satisfied with my experience with them. Until, I found this F24 (non pro) drone by Contixo. Everything down to the carrying case to the drone, the remote, the battery, all show a quality product. The construction of the F24 is well built, solid, not too light and has an amazing design to it. Everything literally folds super compact from the drone to the controller, all stored neatly into a nice carrying case. While charging everything before my first flight with a real drone, I made SURE to read the entire manual because it does have vital information on operating the drone. The GPS calibration is super easy to do and turning on and off the motors is such a great design apart from the cheaper drones. These brushless motors are what make this drone smooth paired with the GPS allowing it to hold it's position with very minimal sway. I was amazed how powerful, controllable, and stable this little drone was. Sharp 1080p camera paired with the "Contixo F22" app brings all the features with ease. Overall, this is a great drone for the real experience at a great price compared to higher end ones.
