Greek Gold: Jewelry of the Classical World

We saw the accompanying exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago several months ago. They were out of the book at the4 time, and I forgot to actively pursue purchasing a copy. When I finally began my search, it turned out to be a difficult journey. Finally, Amazon came through! The photos are spectacular and so is the content. So glad I have Amazon for ALL of my needs.

A magnificent book that captures the beauty of an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum: graceful torques, trembling and delicate tiaras. A lost world of beauty revived.
