Sports Research® Phytoceramides 350mg w/Ceratiq®, 30 Softgels

First of all, I trust the Sports Research brand. I use their collagen peptide powder and krill oil. Secondly, Hot and Flashy Angie on YouTube recommended the Sports Research Phytoceramides, so I was intrigued, but since I have been taking hyalauronic acid for similar reasons, i.e., dry eyes and dry skin and hair, I figured the phytoceramides would not provide any more relief for my dry skin. Well, my dry skin, especially around my mouth and chin area has continued to get worse. For reference, I am a 54-year-old woman, postmenopausal x5 years, who uses tretinoin daily, and I am an avid runner/walker with exposure to the early morning cold temperatures. Last winter, the cold air and wind exposure resulted in very chapped and uncomfortable dry skin on my face and neck, and no topical cream, balm, or ointment seemed to help. Therefore, this October, I decided to try the phytoceramides. I have been taking this product for about 6 weeks, and, OMG, this supplement does WORK!!! I am so pleased with the soft and supple look to my facial skin, and, even better, my face feels comfortable - no more flakes; no more tightness; no more redness; no more angry-looking skin! I had to write a review because this supplement is so good and deserves the utmost praise! If anyone out there suffers from extremely dry skin, please try this product, but keep in mind that it will take a few weeks to notice improvement, so you will likely need to take a full bottle before you begin to reap the benefits, but the wait is so worth it, and with the Black Friday sale, you will be getting a steal of a deal! I have been taking this supplement for a couple years and then I forget to reorder. It’s so strange that I cant immediately tell when it starts working, but I immediately can tell when I stop taking it. It just makes my skin more supple, glowing.. but strangely subtle. It is worth it and I would recommend it.

I am a 26 year old woman who has had dry skin all her life. Growing up, I had chronic cystic acne. In college I decided to go on Accutane. While, the Accutane ridded me of the acne, it only made the dryness of my skin intensify. It was incredibly flaky and I had a lot of trouble wearing any face makeup (powders/foundations) as it would always look crusty and unnatural. To deal with this, I tried everything. LUSH moisturizers. Yeah, no. While they helped on a surface level, the moisture went away as soon as the cream dried up. I tried to drink more water and while I'll admit that it greatly helped, I'll also have to admit that I'm a serious coffee drinker and I'll never give up my java. Since coffee is a diuretic, it lead to my skin being more dry and I didn't really feel like drinking umpteen gallons of water a day to counter the effect. Yes, I know...kinda ridiculous, but the simple joy of coffee in the morning makes the mild dehydration all worth it to me. :) Anyways, on to the point - I came across this product and I can honestly say that within 2 months, I noticed a DRAMATIC difference. I no longer need to drench my skin in moisturizers every day because my skin honestly doesn't feel like it needs it. It feels plump and hydrated and my makeup now glides on without all the flaking and itchiness. Also, I'm only 26, so while I don't have serious wrinkles, I was developing the 11 lines between my brows. Whilst they annoyed me, I just accepted it. Well, I'm happy to say that they have become way less noticeable since I have been taking this product...I believe it has to do with the moisture filling in those creases. All in all, I'm very pleased with this product and have recommended it to all my friends. I get to have hydrated, nice skin while drinking my daily gallon of coffee. I guess sometimes in life, you DO get to have your cake and eat it too. ;)

I'm very hopeful about this supplement after using it for nearly a month, but I have some doubts. Already, there are improvements in skin moisture on my face and even my hands. From what I've learned, there will be more results after I continue to take it longer. My main concern is the potential for ceramide supplements to raise my cholesterol levels. There's conflicting research on this issue. I've discussed this with my doctor, who has given me the OK to take these -- but I will have to monitor my cholesterol levels more closely, she says.

I just finished my first 30 day supply and although I was skeptical at first (even after reading many positive reviews), I am pleasantly surprised. Being from New England, especially during the winter months, I suffer from dry, itchy skin on my legs; bumpy, rough skin on my upper arms; and combination skin on my face, with a chronic dryness at the top of the bridge of my nose, in between my eyebrows. No matter how much I have moisturized in the past, it never made a significant difference. I honestly have to say that the significant improvement I see (and feel) in the condition of my skin is a direct result of taking these phytoceramides! My dry skin has significantly improved and overall, my skin appears more hydrated. When I received my first bottle of these phytoceramides from Amazon, there was an offer for a free bottle from the company that came along with it, too, which was awesome!!! Sports Research shipped the bottle promptly and it was totally free. I am hoping to see continued improvement in my skin as I go on to my second 30-day supply, but if there is no additional improvement, I will continue to purchase anyway, based on my first 30-day results! There were no side effects, either, except for feeling a tiny bit bloated, but the overall personal results I see and feel far outweigh that...LOL I am not on any other supplements or medication and my skincare routine has remained the same all winter long.

Add collagen peptides (Sports Research makes an EXCELLENT vanilla flavor) and trust me, you will see a difference in about a month! Between my own purchase history and roommates buying them for me during their own orders, I've been semi-consistently taking this brand for officially ten years and.... I have thoughts. Several years ago, this company used to have a deal where if you buy a bottle, you'd simply go to the website and redeem another bottle for free, and it was great because that's how I could justify paying $16-20 for *30* pills. So when I found out that they no longer give you a free bottle, I thought, "ehhhh okay, yes, they're expensive but they work and my skin feels great." Like, the pills were great because after even a week you could see and *feel* the difference. if you skipped a day, you could almost see the effects pausing. After a month of use, your skin looked like you'd aged in reverse a bit. It was phenomenal. I've been slacking the last year or so because I had seen that there wasn't a noticeable difference even after two months of taking it. I didn't have that "omg ew look at my skin - wait, i haven't been taking these because i ran out, lemme go grab some now" urgency so I'd just forget. I figured all of this was me not hydrating enough or whatever. But after talking with another friend who's also using these and having similar effects both past and present, we think they've changed the formula or maybe changed where they source their materials. We're not seeing the impact we've seen in the past. 3 stars because these WERE amazing in the past. I'm sure the response is something like "we didn't change anything! as humans age, sometimes it takes a lot more to achieve the affects!" or some such. And that's not really my point, I don['t think? I'm just unsatisfied that a product I've had amazing results with before is failing.

These actually work.. I had 2 wrinkle lines forming on my forehead. I was taking hyaluronic acid for 4months, but I didnt have major results. This winter, my skin became super dry and I was told by a dermatologist, I need ceramide creams. After searching ceramides, these popped up and I opted to try them, I find, it all starts on the inside! After 3 weeks, wrinkle line actually started to be less visible! I do wish they made a bigger supply, because the bottle gets thrown out. Great packaging as well. I recommend these to all my friends.

Je suis maintenant incapable de m'en passé ! C'est l'hiver, il fait très froid et ma peau devient extrêmement sèche et parfois ça craque. Étant donné que je suis trop paresseuse pour me crémer tous les jours , j'ai besoin d'un excellent hydratant. J'ai arrêté 3 semaines pour voir l'état de ma peau. Surtout mes jambes deviennent tellement sèches au touché mais au visuel aussi. J'ai l'air ratatinée ! 😁
