Paula's Choice SKIN PERFECTING BHA 9 Spot Treatment, 0.3 Fl Oz

Excellent product! Very effective treating my papules and did not cause discomfort, irritation or result in new problems. I was intrigued by the 9% BHA formula as no other brand offers this type of product. I had a bad breakout that I decided to try this out on. It is a small squeeze tube so be mindful that you only need a very thin film to cover the spot treatment. I had no burn or redness. One bump did tingle for a a few minutes but I took that as it was effectively working. It really cut my healing time by a significant amount; I would say at least half if I am guessing based off my experience. It is expensive so you can stick with BPO or 2% SA and you will heal more gradually.

This is the best policy’s choice product. It’s expensive, but if you have a pimple, it is gone overnight after using this. It doesn’t irritate your skin. It just gets rid of the blemish.

The only thing that fixes my sebaceous hyperplasia! I have these painless but unattractive bumps, and my dermatologist zapped them with an electric needle--which left my face all spotty for days and barely reduced many of them. Others became pits. I have been using Retin-A for decades with no help. This serum takes times to work and doesn't erase them all the way, all the time, but has greatly reduced them (I use it daily under makeup, because I use the RetinA at night). Even the wartier looking ones are gone or reduced to small bumps. Great stuff!

I think this is a great little serum treatment for a BHA product. It seems to keep my pores cleaner, allowing them to shrink more. It also seems to help control oil production overall a little bit, which is a nice side effect. I use it on my large-pored nose, the cheek area adjacent to my nose, my chin, and my 3 spots of sebaceous hyperplasia. I've been using it about a month now. I see results in the pores, but am not yet seeing much of a result w/ the hyperplasia spots. I'm knocking a star off for price, which to me is overpriced for this item. I will update this review once I know how long this products lasts with nightly use.

Below is my original review but I upgraded to 3 stars after using it a week. I had previously received a sample in a tiny vial. I found I can pump some product into the vial and then pick up a tiny bit with a Q-tip and then apply it so I'm not wasting a bunch every time I use it. I still don't like that it doesn't dry and stick to the skin because you can only use it at night and it wipes right off on the pillow as soon as you roll onto your side. I'll use it til it's gone but still won't repurchase. I love Paula's Choice and I was so excited to see this product, especially because of the high percentage of BHA. I expected it to work really well, and much faster than the usual 2% BHA products you see everywhere. SO disappointed! You can't control how much is dispensed and the little pump pumps out way too much product for just one zit. Then it runs everywhere and half the product is wasted. Then it doesn't stay on where you put it. It runs off. Then the zit is still there after you wake up. THEN it costs WAY too much! The thick, cheap 2% gels are way better! I can't even believe it.

I am a 71-year-old woman with a few wrinkles and sometimes a few blemishes. This product has reduced the size of my larger pores and evened out my skin tone. When I do have blemishes, the BHA 9 Treatment helps them to heal and fade away. I have used it for many years, as needed, and highly recommend it.

This product is noting short of a miracle. I had a stubborn milia near my lash line for months, literally would not budge. Tried the PC 2% salicylic acid for a few weeks then ramped up to this 9% version. Literally with 3 days of several times a day application it popped and disappeared. Never not having this on hand. Definitely worth the price and the hype!

PLEASE listen to me when I say do not buy this thing. I originally bought this product for my sebaceous hyperplasia on my nose and I didnt see any change. But this product also claimed to shrink pores... so I thought maybe its better at fixing that than the SH and still nothing happened. They market this product as a cure all for skin concerns which is FALSE. This poor packaging product is such a greasy mess which does nothing for the skin... I mean nothing no dark spots were reduce or smoother skin. You will ABSOLUTELY waster your MONEY buying this product. I'm so upset I wasted $40. Its frustrating dealing with skin issues and even more frustrating wasting money on useless products.

It is very effective and does work on skin white heads that are very stubborn and hard to get rid off. Recently my forehead area is getting more than few whiteheads and also large pores, I only used 3 times and has seen results. Fast and effective and also with very little irritation which I am very happy cause I got mildly sensitive skin. For very sensitive skin, I recommend once in every three days or so, but do make sure to test patch it in your arm. Which I did at the back of my hand.

Excellent product! Slightly expensive but worth the money spent.

This poduct is magic in a bottle. The action was quick and very efficient. I had very small lumps on my lower lip and within a few days, they had disapeared. My next option was to meet with a dermatologist. Very impressed with this product and I highly recommend it to fix small imperfections.🤗👍

I use it for month and he did nothing to clear my spots skin. Sorry for me.
