Speedball C-Series Lettering Pen Set, Left-handed - 1 Penholder w/ 6 Nibs

Love this set! It's a great set for learning foundational hand and italics for left handed people. I would highly recommend this set. Be sure to keep the nibs clean with Windex on a regular basis so they don't clog or rust. The nibs are easy to load and remove. GREAT PRODUCT!

If you're a lefty and want to learn lettering properly, this is a great place to start. Although a lefty can successfully do lettering with standard (*right-handed) nibs, it takes longer and requires much more diligence. There is more than one way to create a character, and there are books and videos online to show how a lefty can do this lettering stuff, but without a left-handed nib, you're working with a handicap.

I was very hesitant to buy this because the caligraphy nibs i had used in the past, by appearance, never seemed to be biased towards either hand. However, since I usually write very beautifully with regular pen but was having a very hard time writing smoothly with my calligraphy pens, i decided to take a shot and I am very glad I did. I was almost ready to give up on using these types of pens, but as soon as i read the directions in the little pamphlet and started practicing some letters, i was able to write very smoothly and beautifully. I dont understand really why this pen works better for left handed people because it looks very similar, but I found that it worked very well for me and I would recommend it to any other left handed people trying to learn calligraphy!

Tips are hard to put into handle . Ok size and weight.

This lettering pen was on my mother’s Amazon wish list. It made for a perfect stocking stuffer. She enjoys using it when she sends out thank you cards, just to add a little pizzazz. My mother is always appreciative to have an item that is specifically designed for left handers. The ink flows nicely, good selection of nibs and the pen shaft is contoured appropriately. Mom is super happy and that makes me happy.

Always wanted to try calligraphy and was inspired to take a spin after watching all these midevil shows. I love that there's one for left handers and it definitely puts less strain on my hand. Love it! Now I will be able to write a letter on parchment to my boyfriend!

Terrible. Non functional for left handed writers. Scratches paper when pushing.

Me encantaron!!!! Realmente vale la pena si eres zurdo porque batallas mucho con las normales, y estás te quitan de mucho problema. Muy buena calidad de plumillas, pero tomar en cuenta que son delicadas.

I was looking around for dip pen with broad edge nibs to get back into calligraphy after a long while, so as a left handed person, these fitted the bill. So, as the old adage goes ‘you never stop learning’. Always make sure you prepare the nibs for use, before using them, because of the oil coating they came with. In all very happy with the set up.

I had no idea these were created with left-handed features. It may have been a few more dollars but it meant the world to my Artist daughter who as you can guess, is left-handed. Keeping the 'Best Mum Ever' status :)
