I have purchased this oil twice and it has been a problem on both pumps. I can live with this - it is not ideal, but I can live with it. however, on my second bottle the pump also leaks from the base and I end up with a puddle under my bottle every day after using it. it's very messy as well as wasteful. So if you just need affordable FCO and don't care about the bottle/packaging, grab this. Just don't expect to travel with this container or move it around much. PS- it comes well sealed so no worries about leakage during shipping...just once you install the pump you have to be careful.
