How to hang? I’ve never seen this type of bracket before

I put a piece of painters tape straight across the brackets, poke holes where the nails would be then put tape on wall using a level. Put nails where holes are on tape, pull tape Off wall, and hang the frame

This frame can't stand on the table. I want some frames also can put on the table, does anyone have any recommendations?

Quite a bit, the part that holds art is roughly 3/4th of an inch.

Do you need to tape the art piece to the mat in order to display it properly?

Yes but I taped a small piece of plastic in each corner and slide the art in front of it. It doesn’t show and you don’t have to take it off the wall or use tape each time.
