Gear Head HQ4750BCM Dynamic Bass Stereo Headphones with Noise Isolation, Grey

I didn't like these. They seemed cheaply made and the sounds is just average. I dont know why others are saying this is as good as Bose. Maybe Bose from the 1970s. Definitely feel like a pair of $20 headphones, that's worth $15. I returned them after 3 days, no joke. My iPhone earbuds are better quality. Honestly, the plastic looks and feels really cheap. It looked like they were trying to make it futuristic without the future part of it. Reminds me of the worthless plastic cladding that Pontiacs used to have. The cord is ridiculously long too. The pads start to hurt your ear after a while. Overall, you can do much better. Save your time and choose something else. I'm not an audiophile by any means but this just wasn't a good buy.

They work fine, sound ok, but the ear coverage is very minimal. They become uncomfortable after a short time. Would be great for a kid.

Good headphone for the price. Build is plastic but feels solid with a tangle free flat cable. Sound is decent but not outstanding, compared to my slightly more expensive headphones. It sounds a bit veiled, but still very listenable.Update: After a few months of use, the plug is starting to short out so I am deducting a star. The sound quality is still just average after break in.

These headphones are incredible. Let's review the claims made for them and how they seem to me:"Tangle-free flat cable with standard 3.5mm output jack." True."Noise isolating ear cushions to isolate from ambient room noise." This is my key requirement because my wife has what the kids call "radar ears" and can hear every sound anywhere in the house, while I am admittedly "hard of hearing". When watching alone, she sets the TV volume at 6, I set it at 20. Yet even when we are sitting in adjoining chairs 3 feet apart, I can listen to music on my Kindle, and she hears nothing."Custom shaped 40mm drivers that deliver Dynamic Bass Response that is noticeably better than competitive models." I agree absolutely. No doubt technophiles will claim that Gear Head is messing with the real sound, but that's all right with me if it sounds better.All this for $30. may sound impossible. It certainly did to me. But at the price of one dinner out, you can certainly give them a try.

I returned them for poor sound quality. The sound was muddy and all bass. There was almost no treble and voices were hard to understand. I like bass, but all music sounded muddy. I bought them for my PC at work. Every set of earbuds (even a $5 set) or headphones I've used sounded better than these, so it's not a problem with the sound card or computer. The noise isolation was minimal.The packaging was insanely difficult to open. Putting it back together to return was like solving a rubic's cube.

Best sounding headphones at this price, heck better than most headphones costing $300 ! Great bass, midrange and high end.This will sound almost perfect if you play them loud breaking them in, another words loosen them up by playing music through these for a week solid. They will sound better with use. But don't ruin them or your hearing by playing them too loud. I have yet to hear these headphones distort.Great value for your money. Best midrange and high end and bass I've heard on compact headphones.And to boot these are fairly comfortable, little tight to your ears until broken in.Go ahead buy these, you will not be disappointed. These sound great loud but again don't play them too loud for your ears.

My wife didn't feel like they weren't very good at cancelling noise and she felt like the cable was just TOO long so she sent them back.

No matter how low I turn the sound down on these EVERYONE around me can hear my music clearly. I got so many complaints that I had to get new headphones. Turns out, however, that I would have had to anyway. After 6 months, the rubber tore out of a joint (the one that joins the wires from the two ear pieces to the one that plugs in to whatever) and the wires were exposed. So they had to be put away for good. This happened at the same time that I decided to stop wearing them so people around me would stop complaining and giving me dirty looks. I gave 2 stars because the sound really is great for the listener.
