OP/TECH USA Lens/Filter Pouch - Large, 0501132 Black

Unable to find a proper carrying case for. 100mm photography lensball, so I bought this. Width is a nice snug fit; height is a little taller but one you tighten the draw strings it holds it well. Not a whole lot of cushion if it is dropped, but will definitely keep the ball from normal dings and scratches.

Overall this is a nice pouch for the price. It is well padded and the bottom is fairly rigid and thick affording plenty of protection. The bottom also has a zipper around it revealing a compartment that can be used to store filters, small flat accessories, etc. The only problem that I experienced with it is the tab where the clip is attached. On a weekend trip where the only extra lens I carried was in this pouch I had it clipped to a carabiner on the outside of a small messenger bag and after several hours noticed that the stitching securing the tab had almost totally unravelled. Had this completely come apart the pouch with the lens inside would have fallen off and landed on the sidewalk. Fortunately I noticed this and put it inside the bag and carried it inside for the rest of the day. That night, to my wife's amusement, I was able to adequately reattach the tab with the little sewing kit in the hotel room. It held securely the next day and when we got home I had a friend bartack it with a sewing machine. Overall I like the case and would purchase another if needed, just check the stitching.

Very well made lens bag.Provides ample padding, and the draw string has a little locking knobso your lens cant fall out. It also has a compartment for a lens filter or two.The only problem I have is that it is so bulky, it will not fit in my camera bag,which is one of the largest on the market.I ended up not using it for that reason. My camera bag already provides plenty ofpadding, so I just put my lenses in plastic bags and stuff them into the bag.With a large lens in this pouch, it is so bulky, I would have to remove my camerato make room for it.However, if you are looking for a good lens pouch with lots of padding, and a secure drawstring with a locking knob, you will not find a better one for this price.Also, Amazon's price and service were great.

This case is perfect except for the closure. I have some Adorama Slinger lens pouches that have a zipper closure instead of the pull string like this, and I much prefer the zipper closure. Other than that, this pouch is made exceptionally well, and I LOVE the fact that I don't have to carry a separate filter wallet anymore. If they could do this exact case but with a zipper closure, I'd replace all the lens pouches I have with these.

It's a good case, just not for smaller lenses such as one would use with a micro 4/3 system. The diameter is quite large. I wouldn't use this for any lens having a filter thread of less than 58mm.

Good lens case, good protection and materials. Better than the ones that came with the Nikon lenses. The bottom will hold 2 filters, the sides and top are padded for extra protection. I got mine from Event Camera through Amazon, fast shipping.This can be used for a 18-55mm, 55-200mm or a 50mm prime Nikkor lenses with hoods reversed.

This does the job. Wish the bottom was a little more formed and less rounded so that the lens would stand up more securely. Filter compartment seems to do the job.

This is a great lens pouch for the money. Well padded and an easy slip string opening at the top. Handy zip slots for a couple of extra filters at the bottom. I especially liked the belt loop. Makes taking that extra lens with you super easy without carrying the whole camera bag. Fits my Canon 50/250 IS with room to spare.

Its huge! Quality, and a great price but far larger than I imagined.
