After opening the box a few days after arrival, the only problem with this order is that out of 5 cans only 1 was not dented / bent and they stayed intact - yes, I'll still use the beans

Just how Mom made them. So fresh and the seasoning is always just perfect. I sometimes will add a little Italian dressing.

Have enjoyed Margaret Holmes succotash so was looking for green beans available in a can and decided to try it. But, maybe it's the region of the country that uses bacon a lot in goods. Liked the beans but not the strong bacon flavor. Would not buy again. Thank you.

You can’t find these in any store. Once in awhile you’ll find a small can of Delmonte Italian green beans, but even that is rare. I found one can of these at Aldis and loved them, but have never seen them again. So Amazon carries just about everything and sure enough, up,popped these beans. I will keep a supply handy as long as they are carried!

Dont buy

First, the product is listed as vegetarian on the product page, which it obviously isn't (the seasoned Italian green beans). Second, the product pictured has different ingredients on the label than the product I received. The product picture ingredients include chicken fat, and the product I received contained bacon fat instead. Pretty expensive, too. Didn't taste as good as I remembered, but I'm not sure if that's because of the recipe change or change in food quality or perhaps my poor memory.
