DKC Knives (4 6/18) Sale DKC-27 Wizard 7" Long, 4" Folded 6oz Damascus Tanto Folding Pocket Hunting Knife TM

This isn't a knife, it is more like a small folding hatchet. The blade is thick and tough, locks up tight, and beautiful. Each knife seems to be handmade, so each knife will be unique. There was a problem with the first knife I received so I contacted DKC and they replaced it quickly. The replacement is perfect and I'm sure I will get years of good use out of it. The only "tougher" knife I have is a fixed blade (Damascus) I bought from the Perkins company. WARNING Damascus steel is beautiful and very strong but prone to rust and requires a little extra attention.

I read most of the other reviews on the knife i purchased as anything handmade there is allways alittle diffrents and variations on the knife so either everyone is opening the package hard or they just need a fix of drama. My knife was in perfect condition and looks fantastic and being in the electrical field i use my knife every day and have use many different knifes in my life being 60years old and started working at 15years old so i do know knifes and i will give this knife a good 10 on my scale and will purchase from DKC knives again. I ordered 2 of these as xmas presents. Both were broken in the exact same spot. I still liked the knives so I tried contacting the seller and they were receptive but at a slow pace. I needed the items for Christmas. The problem is the plate that screws into the side of the lock falls off dues to the screws being stripped and/or to short. Both knives came the same which makes me feel this is a design flaw. Had these knives not come broken I would have rated this them a 3 or 4. You can tell they are not of high quality but they were pretty. I would have been happy to have put a bow on them. I returned both sadly.

Beautiful pocket knife. It's thick enough to hold properly in hand. Open quickly and easy. Have the 'standard' security lock. The main blade ends with a small dent before the 'tanto' front blade, witch doesn't really show on the picture. This last point might be a problem for some buyers, as because of this nice design (I love it, you grab and tear/cut with the dent), the blade isn't a continuous edge but 2 with the dent in the middle (see picture). Blade is very nice and sharp.

Quality is not what I expected. Blade was not sharpened all the way. With shoty craftsman ship. Will not be buying another DKC. Knife anytime soon

Other reviews are correct. There are build quality issues and this appears to have been stored poorly or second hand.

Blade quality ok, handle faded after a few days while in my car and it was not in direct sunlight.
