The Bites need to be Refrigerated upon arrival - Majka Bites are free from preservatives, we suggest always keeping them refrigerated to maintain freshness and the moist chewy flavor, they can stay unrefrigerated on on the go for up to 5 days .

Are the cookies supposed to be slimy upon receipt (yellow slime when they came and unsure if that is natural fat separation or not)?

Yes , with the weather getting warmer during shipping sometimes oils from the nut butters and coconut oil release from the bites with the mixure of the lactation blend herbs . Sometimes yellow oil is released. The bites are safe to eat , we always recommend refrigration upon delivery .
