4.8 Litre Artisan Stand Mixer 5KSM125 (Empire Red)

I’ve been using the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer 5KSM125BCU in Contour Silver for several weeks now, and it has completely transformed my baking experience. The build quality feels incredibly premium with its solid metal construction, and the mixer looks stunning on the kitchen counter. The stainless steel bowl is the perfect size for everything from cake batter to bread dough, and the planetary mixing action ensures ingredients are mixed evenly every time. I especially love how quiet and stable it is, even when kneading heavier doughs. Best stand mixer I've had. There are multiple mixer attachments you can add on, and its power makes easy work of tough dough. Although it is heavy, it's built well and will last you for life.

Have baked cakes so many times with this mixer already and couldn’t find any fault. It’s well built, very stable, stays in one place, does not vibrate when on. It’s heavy, but with aid of a sliding mat (purchased separately), maneuvering it is way easy. It may be expensive but it’s worth it. It has a nice place on our countertop.

This is most amazing stand aid. It's beautifully presented and sturdy. Mixes ingredients perfectly. Easy to use and clean. It lives up to expectations having read lots of reviews . The price had always put me off, but having had cheaper models, this is far superior and I'm glad I finally went for it. I'm sure it's going to last years and years.

If you have used a Kitchenaid mixer before ,this is a standard Kitchenaid similar to ones used in pro kitchens . Heavy and stable

My review is split into the following sections: Durability, Smell, Ease of Cleaning, Size, Colour, Looks, Final thoughts Durability: This is my 2nd unit - the first I had to send back as the base of the mixer-bowl was not holding in the screw-thread of the mixer unit. So, when mixing something in the bowl and attaching to the base, the bowl eventually became loose and completely useless. So, in terms of durability, I am testing this 2nd unit to see if this one will last. Ease of Cleaning & Smell: The mixer, just like any other mixers, is fairly easy to clean and use, with little or no residue or smell. Size & Weight: The of the unit is quite big (my KitchenAid was the 4.8l model) an occupies a decent amount of space on the kitchen counter. However, the size if the device is more of an issue which means it is not very easy to move around the kitchen, as it weight around 10kg. Colour & available colours & Looks: I like the look and colour of the device as it looks very aesthetically pleasing and feels well designed in terms of it form. Functionality, the item works well aside of the issue pointed out above in terms of the bowl becoming loose. The item was available in a variety of colours but the Almond one looked most pleasing to us. Final thoughts: The mixer looks nice, costs a lot of money and is supposed to be long lasting. Just holding my breath on how long this unit will last, hence the 4-stars instead of 5.

Extremely heavy but I bought a glide mat for it to sit on , it is so easy to move on the counter now.

This mixer was bought all in good faith for my daughter who lives 10,000 miles away from me. I ordered it from Amazon au and it arrived all in good time but it has a UK plug on it? Absolutely amazed when I bought it from amazons Australian website you’d have thought it was set up for Australian use. You might think what’s all the fuss about when all is needed is an adapter plug BUT lo and behold it says do not use with an adapter!!! I would like a suggestion please as to what to do. This is an expensive mixer so I am very disappointed and unhappy. Nowhere does it say in the details that this is for Uk market. So please watch out if you are buying for Australia from Amazon au.

It’s missing the whisk tool which as listed in the included components!
