Rewind a few years to seventh grade: Alison DiLaurentis and her friends are the It girls of Rosewood Day. Boys want to date them. Girls want to be them. But even though they seem to have it all, these girls are hiding some major secrets—especially Ali. She knows better than anyone that if the truth gets out, it will ruin everything. Set in the weeks before Ali's murder, Ali's Pretty Little Lies is the first Pretty Little Liars novel told entirely from Ali's point of view. After all, who better to tell her story than Ali herself, the prettiest little liar of all? Twin Switch: One sister is sent to a mental institution. The other steals her perfect life. But keeping up the lie is a full-time job, and one slip-up could mean losing everything. Queen Bee Protagonist: Step into the mind of Rosewood's original It Girl. See how she assembled her clique, ruled the school, and hid the truth from everyone—even her best friends. Psychological Thriller: A gripping story of identity, manipulation, and the desperate measures one girl will take to protect her stolen future and bury her past for good. Prequel Novel: The must-read origin story for every Pretty Little Liars fan. Discover the secrets that started it all, years before 'A' ever sent the first text. Review: Best PLL book yet - I really enjoyed reading this book from Ali's (Courtney's) perspective. I think it filled a lot of gaps from the other books and gave insight as to why she acted the way she did. It also showed that she was human, not as flawless as the other girls thought she was. Ali and Courtney are definitely the most interesting characters and this was my favorite book of the series. I hope she does another book from real Ali's perspective or just one that gives more info about the DiLaurentis family in general, as they are all interesting and have a lot of secrets. Review: A Must Read for fans of the PPL series!!! - I was looking forward to this book coming out. Couldn't decide whether or not to purchase it as an e-book or the hardcover. I decided to get it as an e-book for my tablet. And I'm really glad that I did I was able to start reading it late at night. Ali's Pretty Little Lies takes you back to the very beginning, and provides you with the back story of twins Alison and Courtney. Courtney basically decides that she has had it with her sister and switches places with Ali, sending the real Alison to the mental institution. Courtney convinces her parents and her brother that she is Alison. Courtney cons 4 girls Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer; and creates a new circle of popular friends. Sara Shepard does an A-mazing job with this book. I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the books and the series. You will be very pleased to find out what happens. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #435,693 in Kindle Store ( See Top 100 in Kindle Store ) #296 in Teen & Young Adult Romantic Mystery eBooks #356 in Teen & Young Adult Fiction on Girls' & Women's Issues (Kindle Store) #361 in Teen & Young Adult Fiction about Friendship | ## Images ![Pretty Little Liars: Ali's Pretty Little Lies - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718ewtcbkQL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best PLL book yet *by C***S on February 10, 2013* I really enjoyed reading this book from Ali's (Courtney's) perspective.
