To turn 40" to 45" area minimum. Also the larger front wheels bump into your heels when you are using the foot rests. I bought it assuming I'd be pushing like a rollator, but my smaller, more agile and lighter rollator is better. I think if you tried to scoot on it you'd be better off with a lighter vehicle. **Q: Can the footrests be removed??** A: The little red push button screws into a bolt with a spring on it. It arrived a day after ordering it, fully assembled. I was able to use FSA funds to purchase it, which is so amazing. And the rollator is awesome. I love the adjustable handles. I’m 5’8 and my partner is 6’3. Having taller handles is already so much more comfortable. I took it for a spin around the neighborhood. As a rollator, handles smoothly on pavement and grass. It stays straight even when I’m pushing it with one hand. It transforms into a transport chair in about 30 seconds. I haven’t gotten to test it out as a transport chair, but am excited to do so soon. It’s more comfortable than my standard rollator. It’s also easier to move around since it folds inward, I can push it while moving it in and out of the house, which reduces how much lifting I need to do. It feels a little heavier than my standard rollator but it’s still quite manageable. And it feels very sturdy and just well designed. 10/10. I only wish I could get it in another color, but that’s a small complaint in the grand scheme.
