Homemade dog bed was a success!
First off I typically don’t leave reviews, however these foam blocks came quickly and packaged neatly and everything. We didn’t use these foam boards for sound absorbency though so unfortunately I can’t review on that aspect. We used these foam pads for making a cheap $15 dog bed for our dogs. These worked perfectly! No way will we spend $70 on another dog bed, we will just replace the foam pads as needed. $9.99 for a 6 pack is a great value for what we were looking for! Will update with a photo later.

Took away the echo
I hung these up in my deer stand. I purchased one of those thick rubber/plastic deer blinds and put it on a raised stand. It actually worked out great, keeps me warm during those sub-zero hunting days. However, there was a loud echo inside and was very loud outside. Even light breathing was echoing inside this thing. I hung up these panels, one on each wall and one on the ceiling. Echo gone, and absorbs additional sound so I do not have to sit as still.

Good value for your money
I bought these for a specific purpose—to dampen the howling noise of the HVAC system air intake—and they made a noticeable improvement. The interior of the air intake fit 2 of the 6 panels on each of the 3 walls, so the size and number were perfect. While the decibel meter app on my iPhone didn’t notice a difference, both my wife and I agree that the sound is noticeably calmer, to use a non-technical term. It’s far less howling and more muted. So, now I’m trying to figure out if I can mount them inside the actual HVAC closet above the air return. For this money, it’s worth the experiment.I affixed them with small nails, at my wife’s suggestion, after failing at taping them with packing tape to the sheetrock in the return. I’ve attached a photo.

Very sturdy and well priced
I bought these to use as cushion for camera equipmentWe were able to cut them precisely with a serrated kitchen knife and reconfigure using a hot glue gun.So I appreciate that these are thick and solid; they didn’t crumble when we cut them and didn’t dissolve with the hot glue.Highly recommend for this purpose.

Good value for money but...
You should not use these as your primary absorbing material. These will reduce higher flutter echoes but they will NOT effect mids/low mids and lows. The thickness is simply not there to even reach mid range sound. These are good if you have large surface areas to fill and you also plan to use bass traps in the correct places in addition to these pieces of foam. Do not get these and expect to use them as your primary sound absorbing material. Get them to cover surface areas as a piece of the puzzle of acoustic treatment.- Nick

I bought this for a weird reason...
I bought these tiles to aid in use under and around the litter box. It keeps the litter off the floor and it work ls like a charm! The bits of litter spill into the dimples and I simply put them back into the box. Tracking of litter greatly decreased! Weird, but it works!! ;)

I used them for a place to dry my bath bombs
I can’t really judge or review on adhesion, absorbency or but it was pretty thick to me, I used them for a place to set my bath bombs on so they wouldn’t have a flat bottom. In that sense they also worked well but if you are going to do that then you will need to put something between the foam and the bath bombs because if they pop or burst it will be very hard to get it out.

Product as advertised and was inexpensive
The foam panels I bought were to provide sound insulation for a 20 year old front load washer that was getting excessively noisy on the spin cycle. I installed these around the inside of the wash basin and have noticeably reduced the spin cycle decibels during the spin cycle. Good product, excellent speed in delivery, and overall a very good deal for me.-SP
