I’m thinking putting this on outside steps is this waterproof for all types of weather

I used for stair carpet to a wood floor it was perfect. So would say yes it can.

My stairs have a curved lip that sticks out at the front of each step. Is that going to cause an issue?

My stairs have a bull nose too and whilst it doesn't cover completely it still does a good job for me. We are due to for a stair runner carpet.
