Why is the picture 16 oz and it's only 14 oz? Obviously made the bag smaller? I hate that

Yes you are correct that recently the Goya doesn’t have 16 Oz any more and they only sell 14 Oz and other products they have made it smaller we do apologize for the inconvenience and understanding your concerns for not receiving exactly what is in the description.

Why does a bag of beans that costs less than $2 at the store cost $9 on Amazon?

There is only one reason, they are trying to "rob" you legally! I have a few packages of these in the pantry and I only paid about $2.50 each from the Supermarket. Before that I got it on sale for 2/$3. Will stock up when it's that price again. These are delicious and make a very good soup.
