Weruva B.F.F. OMG - Best Feline Friend Oh My Gravy!, QT Patootie! with Chicken & Turkey in Gravy Cat Food, 5.5oz Can (Pack of 8)

Last night I ordered a six pack of the Weruva B.F.F. Oh My Gravy! QT Patootie! with Chicken & Turkey. It arrived less than 24 hours later and my two cats just had their first serving. Both *loved* it—even my one very fussy eater! I'm thrilled. Up until now we typically did Fancy Feast's gravy lovers beef, but there were always *lots* of beef bits left over. Yuck. Because Weruva integrates the meat better into the gravy, my cats' dishes were 90% clean after their meal and the little one just came back to polish off the leftovers. My only constructive feedback for Weruva is that last night I almost didn't purchase because the photos of the wet food looked so incredibly odd, with a very uneven looking consistency and a weird color. Thank goodness for that one customer video where I could see that the real food actually looks much better in person—with an even consistency, good color and LOTS of gravy!

My cat Mia is extremely picky, but she does love this! The cans are big enough to be split into two servings. I don't think it is nearly as stinky as other cat food, and it has good nutritional content.

Wet food is BEST for cats, always alwasy always. (Dry Kibble is wrong as a main part of cat nutrition. ) My vet insists that i feed my cat wet food, and this is the only brand my cat loves. My cat does get crystals in the urine and then cat can not void, it is AWFUL, so I can not feed my cat a very high protein cat food. Most cat foods, my cat can not pee, especially if it is dry kibble. Oh my cat loves kibble, but then, cat can not pee. but THIS food, and ONLY this food, is accepted by my cat AND the cat can still pee. FINALLY I found the right food. It has been 2 years now and no problems. I ran out of it once? and within 2 weeks, the cat could not pee again. I can not explain it, but this food saved my cat. My vet is thrilled. I have tried most brands, even brands that cost 2x what this brand costs, but my cat won't eat those. I am very happy with this brand of cat food and have recommended it to several others with finicky cats. My cat rotates her favorites flavor from time to time, but I am so happy to have a healthy well made WET cat food . My cat used to like the "cutie patootie" flavor of this brand's O.M.G. brand of weruva, which is a runny soupy pate that my cat likes a lot, but then my cat got into the "til then" pate flavor, which is a solid-er type of very smooth, no flakes, no chunks smooth pate. (my little diva former street cat can not abide any flakes or chunks, it must be smooth pate...) I very much appreciate that WEruva shows photos of how the cat food looks, THANK YOU. At this point, now my cat will eat almost every flavor of Weruva pate. I just rotate the flavors around to keep her happy. But has to be THIS brand for my fussy cat. (*sigh*. You can't make this stuff up.) My cat is currently back into the cutie patootie runny soupy pate again, which is GREAT for 2 reasons, More hydration for her AND i can "pour" it out without using a spoon. Yesss.

My cats did not like it, Messy Tough Can to Open. These little cans are made with thick steel and almost impossible for someone arthritic like me to open them, no matter what tool I tried. Sorry but only 1 of 3 cats would even lick it or eat any of it. Some of them really smelled bad also. I usually leave their evening meal down on plates for a while giving them a chance to eat it, but this time I had to pick it up and put it in a plastic container in the fridge because it smelled up the kitchen so much. These people designed this food for the good of cats and I'm sure they have some customers that like it, but not me, thanks. Sorry. Back to the pouches ! My fingers cannot deal with these cans.

I tried for a week to get my cat to eat it. The product is thin, watery and spread out on the plate in the grossest way. If you had told me it was a plate of diarrhea, I would believe you. Cat obviously believed that is what is was. Total waste of money. Went in the trash.

My senior cat is a PICKY eater and he scarfed this food down and asked for more. The flavor was the chicken and turkey gravy. I think the thick gravy with the chicken and turkey being in small pieces is what my cat likes. He has hyperthroidism and do you carry any special food for this condition? But I am so happy to find some food he really likes without having to give him treats all the time. I will be ordering more in the future.

I buy this brand and flavour from the pet store often. Wanted to get it from Amazon because it'd be more convenient, but she will not touch the stuff. Not even if I put treats on it. Kind of sussy.
