Good fit
Worked very well to replace old worn out crank from a mid 70s jalousie door.Had to re drill one screw hole but I'm not complaining. Just very happy the part was available.Overall, very easy install.

Hard to find these at my local store - best price on Amazon
I would give it 3.5 stars since the packaging it came in was halfway opened around the edges. All the pieces seemed intact, but the main rectangular part felt a little greasy. Because this part was hard to find at my local store, I decided to give it a chance and proceed to assemble. Plus the price was a lot more reasonable than our local store. It functioned properly and our window louvre was able to turn and open. So in the end, it did its job nonetheless.

What a waste
This was something that used to be made in the USA that a Canadian measured for a Russian to draw and transferred then to the cheep Chinese company. The screws they sent didn’t fit!! The handle needed modifications. This is simply the worst purchase in the History of bad purchases. If I could return it I would but in my attempt to modify crap, it broke…. Do not buy this! And I’m guessing that this review won’t be posted because the company pays extra for only “good reviews”…. Amazon is starting to suck

Needs multiple modifications
There are so many things wrong with this that I don't know where to start. The main hole from the gearbox needs to be grounded/ filed down just so that the pin and e-clip can be secured. The crank output from the gearbox is about ¼ inch shorter than the original, so my crank lever is just about hitting my trim around the window. Last, the gearbox itself is about ¼ - ½ inch longer than the original, so new mounting holes had to drilled just to fasten the gearbox to the window frame. I almost returned this, but figured the modifications would be easier to deal with than to find something that actually fit correctly. If you're looking for a direct replacement, keep looking. If you are handy and can waste the time fixing things to work, this is probably your best option.
