It really keeps my colored blonde highlights from getting brassy, and makes my natural grayish-white sparkle. It's definitely not a moisturizing shampoo. It dries out my hair a bit and makes it feel "squeaky" clean and tangled, so I use a little conditioner after. Still, to me it's far less drying and tangly than the typical "purple" shampoos I've used. Not quite as effective as a heavy purple shampoo when it comes to making my hair "white" but I still love this. Plus I'm not turning my tile and under my fingernails purple. The scent is fresh and pretty. Can't say I've ever smelled this scent before but it flowery and pleasant. A little goes a long way.
