I got these for something more unconventional (to style a plush to look like it had piercings/plugs) and it worked well for that, combined with other sizes I got. They were also very easy to put on (didn't require a hammer like snap versions I had also used on the same item). However, they do not hold up well if you plan to stick said item these are on into the dryer: these came off easily while the snap versions stayed on just fine.

Traditionally you can get a 15mm grommet in a 15mm hole. It's a bit snug, but the leather will stretch. Not with these. The 15mm internal diameter does not work without a hole that is 20mm wide due to the threads. For this reason, these won't work for what I had planned, but will keep them for another project later.

Nice looking grommets that were easy to use. I used these on some Roman shades and they worked well, but are too expensive for that sort of application. Best for applications where the decorative effect is really important.

These grommets screw in so you don’t need an appliance to clamp it in. I wanted to make my bag a yarn bag and this was the most perfect grommet. Just trace around the inside edge - cut the hole a bit smaller and screw the two pieces together. You are done and it looks very professional
