I love this desk! It's strong and looks good. There was some minor chipping which I show in the pictures but hey nothing perfect and I can hide it well with some touch ups. I built it entirely on my own which I'd say is okay if you're determined but you definitely want someone to help you flip it over - not be cause you can't, but because you would risk damaging the desk. It's very very heavy. Instructions were clear. Assembly was simple. I don't recommend using powerful tools on the screws, this desk is strong but it's still compressed wood. Last thing you need is to screw something in to much and crack it. Then you might be here writing a one star review when it folds in on itself. For my gals: I attached eyelet lace trim underneath to make it a little more cozy, there are plenty of options to find on Amazon if you would like to do the same. Longer frilly fabrics on the side and back would be cute too!

I had purchased another L shaped desk from Amazon but the work area was narrow. So I looked and looked for another desk. The lager desks are so pricey and you still have to put them together. It’s some times difficult to tell when you can’t see it in person. I am so glad I bought this. The working area is more bigger and now I can put my work computer (17” and 20” monitors. a laptop and docking station) all fit on one side and my personal computer on the other side. I put it together myself in around 3 hours. Directions were clear and understandable. I did put one of the pieces on backwards but I noticed it before I got to far along. I got the white one and I actually like the color. I think it is a softer white and not the bright white. I was able to to put it right side up by myself and I didn’t feel like it was going to fall apart on me. It was light but felt sturdy. Take your time putting this together, don’t rush. I felt it was well worth it taking the time. The instructions give a step by step (one page for each step). everything lined up perfectly and no missing hardware. They do have a phone number in the instructions though I didn’t need to use it so I can’t comment on the customer service. The one thing missing in this desk is the hole for all the plugs to go through so I wouldn’t push the desk completely against the wall. The desk is easy to move at least on hard wood floors, not sure about carpeting. I love this desk. I have no regrets in my purchase.

I was looking for a desk with these exact dimensions and landed in this one. It has the right amount of space for a dual monitor set up and looks great in my space. My husband put it together for me and said it wasn’t terribly difficult but did mention the design of the two strange end pieces to the desk top being unnecessarily complicated. The texture is very smooth all over but the end pieces do have a slightly more smooth finish- not a problem at all and not noticeable unless you are feeling for it. The finish is not real wood, it seems like some sort of large amazing wood finish vinyl sticker but honestly it looks great and keeps this item at a reasonable budget friendly price point. It is sturdy! It looks great. It is spacious. And I would buy it again. No regrets at all! This hard to find desks like this in stores, I looked at all the stores near me, and none had things like this in the showroom. They can order things like this but at twice the price. This one is all I need.

Ok so to be completely honest I was a little hesitant of the quality of what we would receive because the price was low. I do have to openly state that the box came busted open on the side (no fault of shipper, nor company) it was just a heavy box (70lbs) and UPS I guess just had a hard time managing getting it here without the sides popping open. I was scared that pieces might had been lost, however on top of the box is a costumer service number with people working until 730 at night, and in the instruction manual there is a number basically on every page saying if you need a part just reach out. Back to product, I would say easy of putting together was 3 out of 5 as it would have been easier with a second person, as a one man show setting this up for my girlfriend that is about to move it, it was a TINY bit difficult at times. Things I would like to stress, is there are a few parts that need to be screwed in, I would suggest an electric drill set low as not to tear up the particle board. As far as the actual desk goes, WOW. I am impressed at their attention to detail. They REALLY thought this desk out as far as design goes. Everything flush mounts like it was meant to be and they include little white "push plugs" that go on top of any "silver" piece that could be seen from the outside. The best part of it is it REALLY looks like wood, the finish is wonderful, and lastly, the ends of the desk have these wood pieces that attach in a different direction so that it really gives it a "solid desk" appearance. HIGHLY suggest! It's gorgeous and very sturdy. Hope this helps the next person that might be on the fence about this purchase.

I put this together by myself with no problems and I’m 5’1”. I was concerned about flipping it into the upright position but all went well! I understand why people are complaining about the end pieces, they could be marked and explained better, but if you can’t get it to work, just grab the other piece and it should line up for you. I found the directions to be simple aside from that and it was packaged beautifully, in perfect condition and I’m very picky. It seems pretty sturdy and gives you lots of room. The cape cod gray gives a nice, soft look - I’m very happy with it.

This has been a great desk. I purchased it in 2021 and it is still holding up. I would advise to always have two people help when moving it.

Solid desk, easy enough to put together although I had a hard time figuring out which way the camlocks were supposed to go in but other than that, it was straight forward to assemble, arrived exceptionally well packaged, is exactly as advertised and is a very sturdy desk

I put this desk together by myself. I found the step by step illustrated instructions easy to follow, but pay attention to the details. I loved that all the pre-drilled holes were perfect (not my experience in the past). The most challenging part of the whole thing was getting the box open! Very pleased with my purchase (plus it was less expensive than Wayfair and arrived much faster).
