good value for the money
I've always had a problem with over the head headsets because after an hour or so, the constant pressure starts to hurt my head & ears, and give me "gamer headset hair"...so when I found this behind the ear headset, I wanted to give it a shot. I work an IT job from home and I bought my first pair of these back in 2021 and now in 2025, that first pair finally gave out 2 days ago. For a cheap (under $20) headset that got HOURS of very heavy use (5 days a week, 6-8 hours a day for the past 4 years), this thing was worth it. I bought another one and am using it right now. Doesn't hurt my head, doesn't mess up my hair, sound and mic quality are totally acceptable for work conference calls.

Fits well if modified. Gives decent sound if ear pieces are correct size.
Fit: If you read the reviews you will see some customers complain about the fit of these headphones being quite uncomfortable. Mine definitely were, too, at first. Look at the lime green portion of the earpiece assemblies. The lime green parts are soft and rubbery; they're flexible. This lime green rubber inner arc is supported by three small connecting "bridges" (sorry, don't know what else to call them). The problem for some of us buyers is that the distance from the center of the ear bud portion (what fits into your ear canal) to the bottom of the inner, lime green rubber arc is too short. Wearing these ear phones on/in my ears was noticeably painful on the top of my ear (where my ear physically joins into my head) in only 5 minutes or so. The solution was to take an X-Acto knife and completely cut (sever) the innermost/bottom rubber arc from the longest of the connecting "bridges". Doing this allowed that inner rubber arc to flex upwards a little more which increased the distance I mentioned earlier. To give the top of my ear even more room I also cut out the majority of the smallest lime green rubber bridge; the one that would be closest to your face when wearing the headphones. This solved the extreme discomfort problem. Sound: When I first put them on I thought the sound quality was completely horrible. Changing the squishy, detachable light gray ear cups to a different size solved that. (3 different ear cup pairs are provided with the headphones.) I don't think the sound quality is quite as good as some Sennheiser PMX-680 headphones I used to have, but the sound is plenty good for working out in the yard or exercising. Cord: The cord is a little thicker and beefier than my old Sennheiser PMX-680 headphones. This is both good and bad, in my opinion. Good, because my PMX-680's had the right ear wiring break after a few years of use (on all 3 sets I owned!) which meant I was left with no more stereo sound. Boo!, so the thicker cord should help prevent that. But the thicker cord is also bad because I like to wind the excess cord up and clip it to the shoulder of my shirt but the heavier cord on these earphones is a little unwieldy to do that. I really wish this cord was comprised of 2 separate cord pieces like the Sennheiser PMX-680 was so you could choose a short or long cord length. Cord clip: There is no clip provided so I used the clip I salvaged from my PMX-680s. The thicker cord was a little difficult to fit into my old cord clip but I did get it to fit.

Great headphones but...
These headphones were great when it came to sound quality. I do love the Mucro brand because of the sound quality it provides. However there were some things about these headphones that i did not like. I didn’t like the feeling of the plastic hitting the back of my neck and felt like i had to put my hair down to feel comfortable with them on. Also i did feel like the wire was in a really weird place. On the other hand, the way the headphones fold up was really cool. I liked how you were able to take them anywhere because of how easy they are to fold up. Also they are pretty light so you could easily forget that you have them on. The last thing is that i loved the color of the headphones and I think that they matched the colors up well. So as long as you don’t mind having something on the back of your neck the headphones are great!

Designed for a very small person's head
This headphone is not designed to adjust for different size necks and heads. I can get the over the ear support on, but the buds do not insert all the way into the ear canal and angle outward from being too short. These were designed for a very small person's neck and head. Once I can wrap it on ear to ear, I apply slight pressure on the ends of the buds to push them further into the ear which helps seal the edges and fills the canal. Doing this, I can get all the audio spectrum to include the bass. If I release the pressure, the buds move out and angle away ever so slightly and the audio is reduced, and I can only hear the mids and some highs and lose the bass entirely. The audio quality is diminished greatly. As stated, these would most likely work as intended if used by a head size of a child. The lack of being able to adjust the width to accommodate larger necks and the distance between the ears is a big negative in getting the full use of this design. This design should have come in at least 3 different sizes.

Broke within 5 months
The headphones fit pretty well w/ support around the back of the neck which allows one to wear a hat and provided a pretty stable fit. Unfortunately, after less than 5 months, the right channel ( ear phone ) stopped working and so they are no useless. I wore them for running when not w/ my running group so 2 times / week, 8 times / months or 40 total times max. I dried them after runs, kept them in the box, etc. so can only conclude keep materials not made for any kind of durability. The "warranty" was only for 1 month so that says a lot too about the manufactures / sellers belief in the product. Do not buy these - super disappointed that I wasted my money.

Beautiful
This headset is different from anything I've bought before, the sound is clear and very good, the size is adequate and it really is as described, you can buy it if you are looking for something of good quality and a beautiful design and vibrant colors

Don't trust this. Hopefully enough time passed where they improved it or many like products arose
First off, I should admit that I didn't use these the way I thought. That being said, the way I thought would have made the life even shorter given how it seems they stopped working. These were not supposed to be normal use headphones. They were supposed to be sleeping headphones that could take rough handling from movement against it and my head. But the fact that that didn't happen due to external circumstances and I ended up using them normal anyways and they still broke after 1 year 3 months roughly from just routine bending of the made-to-bend-and-store ear extensions really shows how weak they are. I'm going to give it 2 stars simply because they functioned normally awhile and I have faith it won't matter since it's currently unavailable (hopefully improved) since I bought them, but this is seriously disappointing. We will never know what my normal plans would have produced. 2 months? 3 months? 5? 7? Who knows. But as a normal headwear earpiece, their failure defeats the purpose. For those of you who don't think this is a big deal, lets put this into perspective why 1 year 3 months is no good at all. I have neckband headphones I bought that do NOT fold in 2009 when I intended on wearing them on camera for video stunts. In fact, they did make projects for a 3 year period of infrequent use. Before I bought these, I taped up the back with electric tape so it could withstand all the pressure against that use while sleeping would produce and not hurt the cord or break the plastic. They worked! Until I got these. Then I didn't need them as intended but got back to them for that use just recently. Now I bend these a couple times, they break, probably because the cord inside isn't made to be sharply bent (like all cords aren't), and now my 2009 ones, tape and all, are my tried and true go-to headphones for this purpose until I buy some new junk in 2026 to have faith in. YES. You read that correctly. MY 2009 ONES OUTLASTED THESE!!!!!!!! They're lucky I'm not going 1 star on this one. It's a very generous 2 star. Don't anyone kid themselves. 1 year 3 months means NOTHING when 2009 bought headphones still hold up, electric taped and all.

Review update - Malfunction
They sent me the replacement of the damaged product and it works perfectly; it has excellent sound, highly recommended. ***The headset is not the correct power, I turn the volume up high and it is barely heard. I have also had to adjust the balance since it is heard more on the right side than on the left. It's a factory defect, most likely.

Big head need not apply
If you have big Mellon these wint reach each ear comfortably. Can’t speak to the sound quality as they never reached each ear!

Don't waste your money
Firstly if your thinking of buying this then be aware its tiny and tight. I put it around the back of my neck usually these are big enough to our around your head also but because its small fitment to your ears isnt good hence affecting the sound quality as the ear buds don't fit inside your ears well. I tried it once for running and it's horrible feeling. I sent back in the end...
