(2003 Handa civic EX Coupe auto) Fit perfectly and worked just fine after installing. Installing took less than 15 min. Works great just wish it came with the bolts lol I had to reuse the old ones. A TIP when installing make sure is well aligned or it won’t close go higher then you think

Le doy 4 estrellas porque cuando se le cambio y se hizo la prueba el resolte se salio y después de evaluarlo se noto que donde encaja estaba muy abierto razón por la que se salio, luego de cerrar los encajes bien y se puso trabajo muy bien, habré y cerra cómodamente. Lo recomiendo, observen bien la pieza.

Fixed my Hondas hood latch.
Good replacement hood latch for my 2001 Civic. My old latch was missing a spring and this part is inexpensive enough where it’s better to replace the whole latch instead of finding spring that would work.

This Civic latch Fit My 2003 Acura 1.7L EL Perfectly
Although Amazon said this would not fit my Acura ( Via " My Garage" Feature)...I suspected they were wrong as in these years the EL was a top of the line civic. I took a chance as it looked identical and in fact it is. Looking for the Acura part it was $150 plus tax and shipping....I like $25 and free shipping. Very pleased worked like a charm first time....hood releases properly and latches down tight without a slam ! Looks well made. Note: The little plastic tab on the secondary release tongue came off the old one....a little dab of crazy glue and it's on good.
