I got size 6-12 and my son was only 5 months when he first wore it. It was small trying to put him in it due to zipper placement. It was also a little snug when I finally got him in and zipped up. The only part that was "loose" was the hood which gave some room for his head to grow into but the rest of it was small. If you're looking to buy for any age between 6 and 12 months... get it BIGGER.
