It's good. Yeah! Coins! Organized! Counted (if you math)
Alright! It's easy to use. It organizes your coins. It counts them sort of (well, you count them...then you multiply a little). It's pretty sturdy. I gave it 4 stars for sturdiness. If it was metal or very thick plastic, it would have gotten 5 stars. That being said, it will still probably last forever unless it gets dropped onto something hard like concrete or tile. Anyway, I'm happy with it and give it 5 stars overall.

Works Really Well!
When I first looked at this tray, I was afraid using it would be tedious; but it's not! It's very logically designed and easy to work with. I can attest to the fact that counting coinage made for a great pandemic project!

Works amazingly well
I bought this tray to use to sort through, and roll for deposit, a large amount of misc. coins spread out over several jars. This tray works amazingly well for sorting, counting, and eventually rolling up, a bunch of coins. The slots are clearly labeled with the total value of the stack which makes it easy to count out an odd-roll sized remainder worth of coins. In using the tray, I have also discovered that if one takes a small stack at a time of identical coins (about 6-8 or so) and positions them over the sort slots adjacent to the last coin inserted, that more often than not releasing them results in the coins sorting themselves into the proper slots, which can make for quick work if one pre-sorts into batches of identical coins. The individual stacks of five make for a quick visual verification that the proper number of coins are in each compartment, which is faster than counting out to the proper number of coins that go into each roll. I am very pleased with the sorting tray, and it is going to find a lot of usage over the next few weeks. After I've gotten rid of the jars, the tray will make an excellent place to store loose change until enough collects to roll it up and deposit it.

Better Than A Cheap Auto Sorter
Purchased to easily count coins for rolling in coin wrappers. The coin count is 100% accurate. I initially had a large jar filled with coins to roll which was not as fast as an auto sorter and roller, but accurate. The cheap auto sorters are just that. Cheap and inaccurate. If you routinely sort and roll large amounts of coins then invest in a commercial sorter/roller. The game plan now that the coins are rolled is to place loose change directly in this tray. When there are enough coins of a particular denomination then I’ll roll them which only takes a minute or two. Some reviewers commented about not liking the coins being grouped in fives. For example, it may seem logical to group quarters in groups of four. But the five-count group is a U.S. banking standard. These type of coin trays were originally marketed to business not consumers. Yes, the tray made of plastic like everything else. As long as the tray is not abused it should last. I can’t comment on the $0.50 and $1.00 slots since I will probably never have a use for them.

Very accurate and easy to manage.
Bought this to keep track of my coin count manually, it makes little sections for each row of coins that makes it easier to count. Best part is that most coin rows can hold two coin rolls worth of coins, only the $1 coin and $.50 (1/2 dollar) rows are not made for two rolls worth, but are close.

Simple easy way to track counting change
I used this tray to help count change after a Penny War at my daughter’s elementary school. It was convenient and helped us track our counting while chatting. I liked that it tracked the count by multiples of five, which made it really easy to both easily roll coins and count partial rolls. An automatic machine would have been easier, but this did the job and made things much more efficient.
