This is a wireless DMX transmitter, but it’s important to understand that only the DMX signal is wireless (from transmitter to receiver). The unit itself is not battery-powered or rechargeable. It must be plugged into power using the included wall adapter. That’s not a deal-breaker, but it can be a bit inconvenient when mounting it directly on a light. The power jack is located on the side of the unit, and if your fixture has DMX ports that are close together (as mine does), you’ll need to use a short DMX cable to create enough clearance. That’s an extra step and an extra purchase, which is a bit of a bummer. That said, once everything is set up, the unit works flawlessly. The wireless connection is solid and reliable, and performance has been excellent. I’m still giving this 5 stars, but if the manufacturer moved the power jack to the top of the unit (or made it rechargeable), this would be just about perfect.

Had alot of receivers but needed to set up another art-net controller system so I bought this to go with it. Works like a champ and is compatible with all my other 7 channel receivers. Yeah!!

I had the Chauvet D-Fi DMX Transmitter and end up returning them because it didn't work with my IR4. Once I got the Chinly DMX transmitter, it was super easy to set up with my Sound Switch Control One. All 16 uplights are ready to go.

An excellent wage upgrade your DMX system. Definitely get this one. You could always add more or different ones to it. Very user-friendly the distance is just enough. If you are just starting off or a veteran like me to get rid of the cables and get the system

When they want to work they work great, but then suddenly they don't want to work and when that happens they all fail and the only way to get them to work again is to unplug each one until they randomly start working again.

This is exactly what we were looking for. You shipped on time; between UPS and USPS they managed to deliver it 9 days late. I would have much preferred paying extra shipping and having UPS go ahead and deliver it. For anyone needing this product, I think you will be very satisfied with it.

My unit works and transmits DMX, however when I try to change the channel, it only switches between 3 channels rather than 7 as expected. The only channels are Green, Dark Blue and Light Blue. I'm expecting way more color channels to transmit on. I may have a defective unit?

I needed this wireless DMX transmitter to communicate with my both lighting titan tubes and it does exactly that. I would highly recommend.
