Overall, this is simply an outstanding product & for me, it provides a healthy alternative to coffee in the mornings. All expected in a product like this but still just shows the quality put into their products. If you’ve had any amazing greens product and could stomach it, you’re ready for this. Related to all of the reviews about the flavor, NO it does not taste like a watermelon skittle. Does it taste like a watermelon green juice? Yes. For those of you out there who put ingredients above taste, this is the product for you. I find it a refreshing way to replenish liquid after being asleep for 8 hours. I am a huge caffeine drinker, I’m talking 4+ cups of caffeine a day. Did this give me energy? YES. More than enough energy to not have any other caffeine. I highly recommend this product along with all other amazing greens products I’ve tried. Okay so I'll be honest. I'm someone that likes food but has lost weight. It's not easy for me to get my greens and I am big on taste that being said. This stuff does not taste amazing. I got the watermelon kind. It tastes like you imagine green powder would and does not mix the best. However, if you mix it in with your tea or smoothie it is not half bad. Sometimes I mix mine with a drink packet. It's gritty but manageable. On to the good part. Even though I'm not big on the taste, it actually makes me feel better. I get a bit of energy and like fresh feel. It's wierd but it actually works.

Absolutely love this product! I had tried several others before stumbling upon Amazing Grass and I'm so glad I went with this one. So far, I have purchased 3 different flavors. Watermelon (Energy), Goji & Acai and Cocoa Chocolate Infusion. The Watermelon/Energy is BY FAR my favorite. I mix it directly into a bottle of water (pour a little out first), shake it and go. It's that simple. I do have to shake it again before every sip or two, but that's okay. Once mixed it isn't gritty or grainy and goes down smoothly and the taste is wonderful. It also gives me a wonderful boost of energy and gives me more of a naturally clean feeling rush than my coffee does. As for the other two, the Goji & Acai is okay, mixes well - just not my preference as far as tastes go. The Chocolate one is good as well but I do find myself having a much harder time mixing it with my water. It says it's the new/finer grind but out of all 3 flavors, the chocolate is the one I've had the hardest time blending. Tastes pretty good though and it actually does a pretty decent job of curbing my craving for chocolate! But if you're looking for a nice boost of energy with a pleasant taste while getting your greens, I would definitely go with the Watermelon!

I read a lot of reviews on this superfood energy greens powder and thought people were just being unrealistic on their expectations of a green powder drink. I've been drinking green superfood powder drinks since I was a very young child, so I've tried at least a hundred (I'm 54 now). I expect the grass taste because that's what it is, not a milkshake! That doesn't mean I like it though. I usually add a water flavoring to my green drink to help it go down easier. Now we come to this Amazing Grass Greens Superfood Energy powder; all three of my family members drink a green superfood powder drink every morning to get the nutritional benefit and the extra energy it provides. All three of us gagged this morning while trying to drink this one down. This is the worst tasting green superfood powder I've ever had in my entire life! I am NOT exaggerating! After drinking half of mine, I added a squirt of water flavoring to see if that would help...it did not. The taste is hard to describe - a weird sweet, but nasty chemical taste. I tried to return it but it's considered a food product and therefore is non-returnable due to health reasons. I did cancel my Subscribe & Save order for the future. If after reading this you are not convinced to stay far away from this and want to try it for yourself, I highly recommend buying it from Vitacost as they will let you return it. I thought it was a great price so a good deal, but that idea was too good to be true. To be crystal clear - I do NOT recommend this powder.

I’m able to stomach about any flavor/smell when it comes to food. I don’t mind things that seem less flavorful or has the “green” taste to it. However—this has the strongest smell and taste. It is for sure “watermelon” so it does smell as advertised but it is overwhelming. I tried adding it into my protein shake and it was just a no go. If you think you can drink it plain or don’t mind the overwhelming scent I think you will be ok. I felt like it overpowered all the other flavors rather than mixing with them. I wish I had ordered just the plain or maybe chocolate.
