How many times have I heard "salt is salt, I don't care". Nay nay I say you uneducated cad! Salt is not just salt. There are many different smoked salts. All with their own tastes, textures and uses. It's not easy to find ANY smoked salt in a coarse grind. I think any salt tastes better when it's fresh ground. Hey, it's my tastebuds not yours ok? This salish salt is awesome. Artisan Salt is known for their quality and purity and there aren't any flavorings, chemicals or junk in there. That is important to me. Just pure salt slow smoked over red alderwood.
